TYPE OF PROJECT<br />

To develop a network of media practiti<strong>on</strong>ers campaign<strong>in</strong>g for media law reform <strong>in</strong> Eastern Africa. C<strong>on</strong>duct a 3day<br />

sem<strong>in</strong>ar for 25 journalists and press freedom activists from Eastern Africa <strong>in</strong> order to create and implement<br />

a Programme of Acti<strong>on</strong> for the campaign for medial law reform<br />

.<br />

IMPLEMENTATION<br />

The tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g is scheduled to late January 2012. The Office has received <strong>on</strong>ly the list of participants and the CVs<br />

of the Resource Pers<strong>on</strong><br />

RESULTS<br />

Too early to report <strong>on</strong> the results. Activities will be implemented <strong>in</strong> 2012 Accord<strong>in</strong>g to the work plan the f<strong>in</strong>al<br />

report is scheduled to be received <strong>in</strong> December 2012<br />
