mmlsfs {Device | all} [-A] [-a] [-B] [-D] [-d] [-E] [-F] [-f] [-I] [-i] [-j] [-k] [-M] [-m] [-n] [-o] [-P] [-Q] [-R] [-r] [-S]<br />

[-s] [-T] [-u] [-V] [-z]<br />

Description<br />

Use the mmlsfs comm<strong>and</strong> to list the attributes of a file system.<br />

Depending on your configuration, additional information that is set by <strong>GPFS</strong> may be displayed to assist in<br />

problem determination when contacting the IBM Support Center.<br />

Results<br />

If you do not specify any options, all attributes of the file system are displayed. When you specify options,<br />

only those attributes specified are listed, in the order issued in the comm<strong>and</strong>. Some parameters are preset<br />

for optimum performance <strong>and</strong>, although they display in the mmlsfs comm<strong>and</strong> output, you cannot change<br />

them.<br />

Parameters<br />

Device | all The device name of the file system to be listed. File system names need not be<br />

fully-qualified. fs0 is as acceptable as /dev/fs0. Specify all to list the attributes of all <strong>GPFS</strong><br />

file systems that are owned by this cluster, as well as all remote file systems to which this<br />

cluster has access.<br />

Options<br />

This must be the first parameter.<br />

-A Automatically mount the file system when the <strong>GPFS</strong> daemon starts<br />

-a Estimated average file size, in bytes<br />

-B Size of data block, in bytes<br />

-D The type of file locking semantics that are in effect (nfs4 or posix)<br />

-d Names of all of the disks in the file system<br />

-E Exact mtime values reported<br />

-F Maximum number of files currently supported<br />

-f Minimum fragment size, in bytes<br />

-I Indirect block size, in bytes<br />

-i Inode size, in bytes<br />

-j Block allocation type<br />

-k Type of authorization supported by the file system<br />

-M Maximum number of metadata replicas<br />

-m Default number of metadata replicas<br />

-n Estimated number of nodes for mounting the file system<br />
