syncfsconfig User exit<br />

syncfsconfig – Keeps file system configuration data in replicated clusters synchronized.<br />

Description<br />

The /var/mmfs/etc/syncfsconfig user exit, when properly installed, will be synchronously invoked after<br />

each comm<strong>and</strong> that may change the configuration of a file system. Examples of such comm<strong>and</strong>s are:<br />

mmadddisk, mmdeldisk, mmchfs, <strong>and</strong> so forth. The syncfsconfig user exit can be used to keep the file<br />

system configuration data in replicated <strong>GPFS</strong> clusters automatically synchronized.<br />

Read the sample file /usr/lpp/mmfs/samplessyncfsconfig.sample for a detailed description on how to<br />

code <strong>and</strong> install this user exit.<br />

None.<br />

Exit status<br />

The syncfsconfig user exit should always returns a value of zero.<br />
