High Quality Drinking Water congres 2007
On June 21st and 22nd the yearly “high quality drinking water” conference was organised at Delft University of
Technology. In total 23 researchers from 9 different countries presented their research. Among the presenters
were some well known researchers, like the professors Uhl (Dresden, Germany), Huck (Waterloo, Canada),
Lawler (Texas, United Sates), Leiknes (Trondheim, Norway), Juna (Riga, Estonia). Furthermore researchers
from different water research institutes participated (TZW, EAWAG, Kiwa, UNESCO-IHE and of course Delft
University of Technology). The conference was sponsored by Delft Cluster and Techneau. The conference was
jointly organised by UNESCO-IHE and Delft University of Technology.
In the program the source to tap approach was covered. There were presentation about risk assessment,
water treatment processes, natural organic material and water quality in the distribution system. One of the

The conference was attended by about 75 participants from the Dutch water companies. For those who have
missed the conference, all presentations were video taped by the MultiMedia Services (MMS) of Delft University
