Oz Trikes unveils stunning Boom Trikes Mustang ST1
Oz Trikes has just unveiled the new Mustang ST1 trike, a
Boom Trikes product it describes as “the newest and the best
trike on the global market”.
The Mustang is characterised by its compact dimensions,
and Oz Trikes says it’s also nimble and agile, thanks in part
to the company’s own independent
suspension, with aluminium trailing
arms and continuously adjustable shock
absorbers.
The tubular frame was constructed
using state-of-the-art CNC tube bending
technology, which has made some
highly complicated structures fit the
contours of the trike perfectly. The
package is finished off with a polished
stainless steel exhaust system.
Powered by a fuel-injected fourcylinder
engine from Ford, Oz Trikes
says more than 150Nm of torque is
available at just 1500rpm, while the unit
is ticking over at just 2000rpm at
100km/h. The torque increases to
168Nm at 4300rpm, and Oz Trikes says
there’s ample grunt available throughout
the rev range.
Oz Trikes says the Mustang
consumes just 6lt of fuel per 100km, and

that the waterproof rear trunk has a capacity of 200lt.
The chassis cover lifts up on gas struts, providing easy
access to the engine for maintenance.
