widely used XCP protocol was chosen as the
calibration interface.
For interaction with suppliers and customers as
it came to the diagnostic portion of the software,
it was concluded to use Softing´s ODX authoring
tool DTS Venice which supports the ODX 2.0.1
standard to collect and document all off-board
communication requirements in a structured
way. Softing´s MVCI D-Server “DTS-COS” is
used with different applications, e.g. as UDS on
CAN protocol tester and as reprogramming
tool in the production line. The employment of
the D-server for aftermarket service testers is in
preparation.
ChallengeS During the ProjeCt
Due to the ambitious timing of the project,
one expected problem was the validation of
the control software and the establishment of
the inevitable end of line processes. Again, the
