TOURNAMENT RULES (see entry form for complete rules)
1. The Los Latinos De San Antonio team tournament is a non-certifi ed
handicap tournament open to all bowlers except PBA exempt bowlers.
2. The teams will consist of fi ve members with any 3/2 or 4/1 combination.
3. Bowlers averages will be used in the following order:
a. Current ITA average based on 36 games as of Sept 1, 2010
b. 72 game ITA average
c. Highest 2009-2010 USBC year book average of 36 games
d. Highest current average of at least 36 games, verifi cation needed
e. All others will bowl scratch
f. Sports league averages will be re-rated according to USBC
guidelines
4. Tournament handicap is 80% of 210. There will be no maximum for
bowlers with an ITA average. The maximum individual handicap for
bowlers without an ITA average will be 50 for men and 60 for women.

Guerrero took a 1-0 lead with a
204-179 win on the 40-foot Athens
pattern, and then jumped
out to a 25-pin lead after five
frames in Game 2, which
was contested on the 34-foot
Stockholm pattern. Marcano
used six consecutive strikes to
even the match with a 221-203
victory and force a deciding
game on the Athens pattern.
After Marcano closed out
the finale with 182, Guerrero
had a chance to double in the
final frame to win the gold
medal, but left the 4-6-7 split to
finish with a strikeless 168.
“I had to figure out how I
was going to bowl because it
was really painful,” said Marcano,
who won the singles gold
medal at last year’s PABCON
Championships in San Juan,
