II wins in Crans Montana<br />
In <strong>the</strong> shadow of <strong>the</strong> Olympic Games in London <strong>Hanoverian</strong> horses successfully<br />
compete on tradition-rich horse shows all over <strong>the</strong> world. Embassy II is much talked<br />
about. He once again wins a Grand Prix with his rider Hans-Dieter Dreher, now in Crans<br />
Montana.<br />

Alida<br />
<strong>The</strong> summer meeting in Gera/Germany offered<br />
great competition on three weekends.<br />
Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking rode Alida by Argentinus/Landadel<br />
(breeder: Hermann Hoelscher,<br />
Gehrde) into second place in <strong>the</strong> second<br />
jumper class for <strong>the</strong> Youngster-Cup for<br />
six-year olds on <strong>the</strong> last weekend.<br />
Alsvid<br />
Richie Moloney rode Alsvid by Escudo/Azur<br />
(breeder: Mareike Decker-van Leeuwen, Hohenhameln)<br />
into second place with one of<br />
<strong>the</strong> fastest rides in <strong>the</strong> “Speed Classics”at<br />
<strong>the</strong> CSIO in Hickstead/Great Britain.<br />
Loro Piana Athletica<br />
Athletica by Achill-Libero H/Pit (breeder: Arend<br />
Kamphorst, Prieros) was victorious right<br />
away winning a 1,50-m penalty/time class<br />
under rider Giulia Martinengo at her first<br />
competition in La Coruna/Spain.<br />
Caipirinha<br />
Caipirinha by Chequille/Lacros (breeder: Hubert<br />
Knigge, Ahlden) and rider Astrid Wulschner<br />
placed fifth with a faultless round in <strong>the</strong><br />
second class for <strong>the</strong> Youngster-Cup on <strong>the</strong><br />
first weekend in Gera.<br />

Calgary<br />
Thomas Weychert successfully rode Calgary<br />
by Calido/Lungau (breeder: Clemens Lambers,<br />
Beesten) winning <strong>the</strong> two-phase jumper<br />
class of <strong>the</strong> International Amateur-Tour after<br />
finishing <strong>the</strong> first jumper class in second position<br />
on <strong>the</strong> second weekend of <strong>the</strong> Summer<br />
Meeting in Gera. On <strong>the</strong> following Wednesday<br />
<strong>the</strong> pair added a fifth place in a speed<br />
class and a 2nd place in ano<strong>the</strong>r two-phase<br />
jumper class to its success record. A <strong>Hanoverian</strong><br />
dual victory was celebrated when Calgary<br />
placed second behind Crusty in <strong>the</strong> Grand<br />
Prix of <strong>the</strong> city Gera.<br />
Campagnarde<br />
Sebastian Haas and Campagnarde by Carabas/Cheenook<br />
(breeder: Hubert Knigge, Ahlden)<br />
placed forth in <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix of Can-<br />
teleu/France and in <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix of La<br />
Clusaz/France.<br />
Capitana (Hessian)<br />
<strong>The</strong> international rising generation of jumper<br />
riders met up on <strong>the</strong> third weekend of <strong>the</strong> CSI<br />
in Gera to compete for <strong>the</strong> European Youngster<br />
Cup. Karolin Borchert rode Capitana by<br />
Catano/Silvio (breeder: Fritz Rinne, Cornberg-<br />
Koenigswald) into forth position in <strong>the</strong> jumper<br />
class with jump-off.<br />
Carlotta Singular La Magnifica (VA)<br />
<strong>The</strong> course for <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix “Reach for <strong>the</strong><br />
Sun” in Calgary/Canada lead over jumps of<br />
1,60 m in height. Carlotta Singular La Magnifica<br />
by Chasseur/Singular Joter (breeder: Hans<br />
Meier, Selsingen) and rider Yann Candele finished<br />
<strong>the</strong> difficult jump-off in third place.
