summer auction in August. Great interest in the
riding horses became apparent during the training’s
period.

The collection included 85 pre-selected riding
horses of which 75 sold on the auction block.
62 participants exhibited dressage qualities and
24 jumping ability. Twelve of them proved to not
only have dressage- and/or jumper talent but also
be suitable for recreational riding. The Hanoverians
that were described as ”suitable for recreational
riding” displayed remarkable calmness, strong nerves
and easy rideability. Highlighting these special
qualities is fairly new to Verden’s auction program.
The entire collection attracted great interest in foreign
countries. 46 Hanoverians found new homes
outside Germany. It was “Love at first sight” for a
customer from Chile who won an exciting bidding

balanced basic gaits were not all that convinced
the customer from Chile; the riding comfort of the
four-year old also impressed her. Go for Gold by
Goldfever II/Landfriese (breeder: Heinrich Bloemer,
Dinklage; exhibitor: Claudia Schroeder, Grossenkneten)
came to Verden with a victory in a riding
horse class. Ursula Müller who the customer advisor
for Spain and Chile advised the buyer. Mrs.
Müller has attended to customers from Spanish
speaking regions for more than 15 years. Being
