In addition to <strong>the</strong> medal winners 13 <strong>Hanoverian</strong>s and one Hessian horse competed in<br />
London. So <strong>the</strong>y were <strong>the</strong> biggest group of german bred horses.<br />

to <strong>the</strong> collection of <strong>the</strong> Summer Auction in 2007. However, he had to be<br />

Four years ago, Butts Leon was Andreas Dibowski’s Olympic horse. Following<br />
<strong>the</strong> victory in <strong>the</strong> four-star competition in Luhmühlen, he sold<br />
Leon with a heavy heart to Nina Ligon who lives in <strong>the</strong> US and who is<br />
competing for Thailand. <strong>The</strong> dam line of Liebeslust also produced Leonas<br />
Dancer who competed with “Dibo” at <strong>the</strong> Olympic Games in Sydney.<br />

Latina found her way to Great Britain where she participated at first one-star-tests in 2008. Last<br />
year, she was ridden by Lucinda Fredericks before she was taken over by Takayuki Yumira. Both<br />
earned a sensational fourth place at <strong>the</strong> CCI*** in Vairano. Elwood and Firth of Lorne are more<br />

Shamwari is <strong>the</strong> only horse with a Hessen brand in London. Chris Bartle is coaching his rider.<br />
Shamwari was first trained by Peter Thomsen who will compete in <strong>the</strong> German team. Ludvig<br />
Svenerstal has been sitting in <strong>the</strong> saddle of <strong>the</strong> black-brown horse since 2009. Shamwari comes<br />
