After a turbulent year 2010
characterised by unpredictable
weather and
volatile prices, there are signs
of optimism ahead. In some
Central European markets, autumn
2010 marked the start of
a signifi cant period of recovery.
Structural changes in agriculture,
higher prices for milk and
grain have worked favourably
for producers, providing much
needed impetus towards investments
into machinery. Additionally,
last year’s conditions should
also ensure that attention is paid
to even more effi ciency.
We can therefore start 2011
with much hope and positive
expectations for the agricultural
machinery trade. There is already
a growing need for innovative,
reliable technology that
meets the diverse needs of customers
around the globe.
Agritechnica attracts buyers
and sellers from all over the
world every alternate year. In
