Iaap newsletter 28 - The new Israeli Jungian society

At the end of 2008 we will be having an extraordinary event: our Executive
Committee has invited Hester Solomon, IAAP President, Joseph Cambray President-
Elect and Tom Kelly, Vice-President and Montreal Organizing Committee Chair, to
come to Rome on 3rd December for a very unusual and magnificent inauguration of
the 2008-09 academic year: on that occasion there will be a workshop on “The
Jungian Model and the post-Jungian Models”. This is an opportunity not to be missed,
for participants will have occasion to personally meet IAAP Executive Committee
Representatives and to become familiar with international cultural orientations in the
wide world of Jungian practice.
In concluding this report I wish to mention that we will be called on to deal with an
extremely important issue for our Association. In fact, during the September Assembly
the possibility of modifying our training program was discussed, and since there are
different points of view the debate will have to search deeper into all concerns
regarding the various aspects: we know it is not an easy question!
