JUNGIAN ANALYSTS OF THE WASHINGTON ASSOCIATION (JAWA)
The Jungian Analysts of Washington Association (JAWA) has had a very productive year
in providing educational opportunities to the Washington area clinicians and
deepening our commitment to the public as well as to our organization. We have had
a unique role in providing 4 seminars to clinicians which have directly influences
several students to move forward in applying and participating in Jungian Institutes
and enhancing their desires to explore Jungian work with clients. Our work with the
Washington Jungian Society providing lectures, courses and workshops to the general
public continues as it has for many years. In June, we held a Retreat for members
only at a lovely location by the waters of the Chesapeake Bay; all left feeling uplifted
and renewed by the experience.
We are privileged to host the 2009 CNASJA conference that will be held in the
Washington, D.C. area October 2-4 and have a very enthusiastic and effective
Planning Committee working hard to ensure a positive experience for all as well as to
focus valuable energy our Nation’s Capitol during this time of transition of power.
