Via the optional off-gas analysing module, the
metabolic activity of biological cultures can be
detected online via the respiration activity (OTR,
CTR, RQ, OT, CT, µmax). With this knowledge you
can easily draw conclusions in regard to substrate
consumption and changes in metabolism or
biomass.
For dosing with fed-batch or continuous operation
mode, up to five precision peristaltic pumps can be
connected. They assure a secure and constant
substrate supply for semi-continuous and continuous
processes and a very accurate dosing of anti-foam,
base or acid for pH control.
