In his eight years at Performics, Leo Dalakos has worked in a variety of<br />

capacities. He originally joined the Affiliate team, eventually moving to Search<br />

and Client Services and most recently leading up our efforts within Strategy +<br />

Analytics. He has developed client-specific and company-wide best practices,<br />

as well as implemented scalable strategies for countless search programs. In<br />

his current role Dalakos is always focused on identifying, testing, and efficiently<br />

leveraging the next new shiny object within digital marketing. He fosters senior<br />

level partnerships with key search engines, and developed a new account<br />

planning methodology that is current being rolled out globally. He has overseen<br />

search marketing campaigns for numerous clients, including Microsoft (Globally),<br />

Target, Kohl’s, Bose, FinishLine, Verizon, American Eagle Outfitters, and Lexis<br />

Nexis.<br />

Julien emery<br />

Senior Account Executive, HootSuite Media Inc.<br />

Julien is a member of HootSuite’s strategic accounts business development<br />

team. In helping launch the HootSuite sales force and working with<br />

HootSuiteâ€s large customer base, Julien has developed a deep<br />

understanding of social media. He is responsible for establishing new client<br />

relationships, and helping clients reach their corporate communication goals<br />

through social media. Prior to HootSuite, Julien cultivated business development<br />

and digital and social strategy at Invoke Media and operated his own company<br />

JE Strength and Conditioning, which delivered athlete conditioning programs<br />

through online e-commerce. Julien is a graduate from the University of British<br />

Columbia with a degree in Kinesiology and Commerce.<br />

Gavin Finn<br />

President & CEO, Kaon Interactive, Inc.<br />

Gavin is an experienced executive with more than twenty-five years of success<br />

in building growth-oriented marketing and technology companies. Gavin is<br />

President & CEO of Kaon Interactive, the leader in 3D interactive product<br />

demonstration applications for marketing and sales. Under his leadership, the<br />

company has experienced substantial growth and has introduced numerous<br />

award-winning products. He teaches Entrepreneurial Marketing at Tufts<br />

University. Gavin was President & COO of Bluestreak, a provider of online<br />

marketing software. He led the company through three successful acquisitions,<br />

and a European market expansion. Previously, Gavin was the President & CEO<br />

of Prescient Technologies, a provider of data quality and automation software.<br />

He holds a Ph.D. and MS from MIT.<br />

Brandon Hess<br />

Sr. Product Marketing Manager, ReadyTalk<br />

Brandon Hess is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at ReadyTalk, focusing<br />

his efforts on ReadyTalk’s mobile, video, and audio conferencing initiatives.<br />

He spends a significant amount of time talking to marketers about their top-ofmind<br />

issues and the role webinars play in their demand generation and content<br />

marketing strategies. Brandon initially began his career journey as a web<br />

designer and online content editor in the newspaper industry before eventually<br />

transitioning into the digital agency and startup world where he honed his<br />

online marketing and strategy skills. In his free time, he enjoys writing, drawing,<br />

spending time with his wife and two dogs, being tall and imagining the multiple<br />

ways Batman could win in a fight.<br />
