Novapoint Civil Construction

John Galten AS is a construction machinery contractor
company with 37 7 employees and sales in 2006
of just over NOK 80 million. Based on increasingly
more stringent documentation requirements and
the earnings potential represented by controlling
volumes, the company in the spring of 2006 purchased
a computer tool to handle these aspects of
assignments. Novapoint Civil Construction was the
computer tool selected as it was considered that it
was a program that could handle most of the
assignment types a contractor normally carries out.

We work with many different types of projects and
for both large and small clients. The projects vary
from simple land plots to complete cabin ‘estates'
with the infrastructure required and with lifts and
slalom slopes. However, the projects we handle also
include a great deal of road construction. We currently
are also heavily involved in the development
of the Norwegian Armed Force’s new artillery range
in the Østlandet region of Norway.
The assignments are therefore very varied.
