En <strong>el</strong> sitio temporal <strong>de</strong> almacenamiento <strong>de</strong> materiales (agregados,<br />
residuos) <strong>de</strong>berán contar con cunetas perimetrales que conduzcan<br />
<strong>el</strong> agua al sistema <strong>de</strong> <strong>drenaje</strong> <strong>pluvial</strong> d<strong>el</strong> sector.<br />
Se <strong>de</strong>ben mantener limpias las cunetas, canales y <strong>drenaje</strong>s<br />
artificiales <strong>de</strong> aguas lluvias, <strong>para</strong> lo cual se <strong>de</strong>berá retirar<br />
periódicamente los sedimentos y residuos que allí se acumulen y<br />
que obstruyan <strong>el</strong> flujo normal d<strong>el</strong> agua.<br />
Las aguas lluvias no se podrán mezclar con aguas residuales<br />
domésticas crudas <strong>para</strong> su vertimiento.<br />

Como medida preventiva <strong>para</strong> no afectar la calidad <strong>de</strong> agua durante la operación, <strong>el</strong><br />
proyecto en <strong>el</strong> diseño, construcción y operación <strong>de</strong>fine claramente que los drenes<br />
serán utilizados <strong>para</strong> captar las aguas <strong>pluvial</strong>es y no las residuales, pues los<br />
volúmenes <strong>de</strong> aguas <strong>pluvial</strong>es son muy superiores a los correspondientes <strong>de</strong> aguas<br />
residuales en proporción <strong>de</strong> 50 a 200 1 veces o más; así mismo Comisión Nacional<br />
d<strong>el</strong> Agua en su manual <strong>de</strong> agua potable, alcantarillado y saneamiento y alcantarillado<br />
<strong>pluvial</strong> <strong>de</strong> diciembre <strong>de</strong> 2007, recomienda en <strong>el</strong> diseño <strong>de</strong> la estructura <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>scarga<br />
una transición que amplíe la <strong>plan</strong>tilla <strong>de</strong> dicha estructura hasta su disposición final<br />
evitando en <strong>el</strong> vertido <strong>de</strong> las aguas al cuerpo receptor, la modificación a la calidad d<strong>el</strong><br />
agua d<strong>el</strong> mismo.<br />
