2. Los sufijos -chu y -mi<br />
Es<strong>to</strong>s dos son sufijos enfáticos, indicando una énfasis especial<br />

voice on the emphasized word. They are also modal suffixes, indicating<br />
the mood <strong>of</strong> the sentence in which they occur—again something<br />
which in English is done largely by in<strong>to</strong>nation. The -chu is used for<br />
questions (<strong>of</strong> the true-or-false variety that must be answered by either<br />
“Yes” or “No”), while -mi occurs in affirmative statements. ††<br />
