Después de un comienzo tan impresionante, alguien podría
pensar que sería difícil subir el listón pero, conforme avanza
la temporada, el escenario de Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza está manteniendo
su frescura y poder de atracción para las estrellas.
Neneh Cherry y UB40 fueron los otros protagonistas de junio.
La banda de Birmingham sólo abandonó el escenario después
de que el público no parara de pedirles más y más canciones.
En julio tuvo lugar la actuación de Robin Thicke, que encabezó
todas las listas de éxitos con su single Blurred Lines en 2013;
Icona Pop, autoras de la pegadiza canción I Love It; TinieTempah,
que es un habitual de Ibiza, y el ganador de varios premios
MTV Jason Derulo. Todos ellos demostraron que las superestrellas
y el rock and roll capturan el verdadero espíritu de Ibiza ya
que el público vibró en cada una de las actuaciones.
Otro de los eventos de la temporada ha sido el Corona Sunsets,
un nuevo festival que recaló en la isla para presentar un nuevo
género musical a caballo entre el balearic beat y el deep house,
perfecto para disfrutar de la vida playera en Hard Rock.
El final de la primera temporada en el Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza seguro
que será algo memorable. Con las actuaciones previstas
de estrellas internacionales como Ellie Goulding, Snoop Dogg,
Kylie Minogue, Placebo y Pitbull, el nivel ya es más que altísimo,
pero el público sabe que la próxima temporada también estará
llena de sorpresas, ya que el lema del equipo de programación
no es otro que “Lo mejor está por venir”.
After such an impressive start, some may have thought it would
be hard to raise the bar but, as the season progressed, the pool
stage at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza kept its cool as the island’s new
star magnet. Neneh Cherry and UB40 were the other two stars of
June. The Birmingham band only left the stage after a huge ‘We
Want More’ resounded throughout the hotel. July saw the performances
of Robin Thicke, who topped all the charts with his hit
single Blurred Lines last year; Icona Pop, authors of the catchy
song I Love It; Tinie Tempah, who is a regular in Ibiza and MTV
Music Video winner Jason Derulo. They all showed superstars
and rock and roll capture the true spirit of Ibiza as the crowds
went crazy with their performances.
Another of the events of the season was the Corona Sunsets, a
new festival that stopped by the white isle to present a new musical
genre somewhere between Balearic beat and deep house,
perfect to listen to at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza while enjoying beach
life.
The end of the first season at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza is sure one
to remember and cherish forever. With the scheduled performances
of international stars Ellie Goulding, Snoop Dogg, Kylie
Minogue, Placebo and Pitbull the standards are high enough but
one can expect anything from the booking team next season as
their motto seems to be “the best is yet to come”.
