3.6. Relationship between Corporate Governance and information
transparency
In order to contrast the relationship between the Corporate Governance
of the entity and the disclosure of information, the Pearson’s
correlation coefficient is used.
Regarding the results of the following table, it is confirmed that a higher
percentage of women in the Management Board benefits a greater
disclosure of information of quality. However, a higher number
of members in the Board seems not to be related to the informative
transparency; although they do not introduce inefficiencies that difficult
the disclosure work. For this reason, a more joint Management
Board promotes more awareness with environmental concerns (except
for the information related to the employees).
