LAS TETAS DE MI MADRE tells a story
about Martin, a ten-year-old boy who works
with his mother as a pizza delivery boy. He
wants to take her to Disneyland. One night
he asks for using a whorehouse bathroom
where he takes a pizza and by mistake, he gets
into a striptease booth. There he sees a naked
woman for the first time. Some days later
Martin gets back to the whorehouse but this time
he will find something that he’d never expected.
This Colombian production from Pinhole
Films, directed by Carlos Zapata, started
in by Paula Matura (María), Billy Heins
(Martín), Santiago Heins (Martín) and
Alejandro Aguilar (Álvaro). It also counts
with the production of Ernesto Lozano
and Alejandra Zapata, and Lucas Cristo
Mirada as Photography director.
LAS TETAS DE MI MADRE has gotten
an postproduction stimulus from the Fondo
para el Desarrollo Cinematográfico – FDC
(Cinematographic Development Fund); in
2014 they received the Latin-American Work
in Progress at the 10th SANFIC - Santiago
Festival Internacional de Cine en Chile
(International Santiago Film Festival of Chile)
and the judges award (Work in Progress)
in the first edition of Mercado Audiovisual
Latinoamericano (Latin-American Audiovisual
Market) del FLICC in México.
FICS (Festival de Cine de Santander)
includes LAS TETAS DE MI MADRE in its
fiction official selection and as a part of the
retrospective made in honor to the actor
Alejandro Aguilar. It is an honor that the
national launch for the movie to be in a
festival which bets for the culture in our
country.
The movie is confirmed in different festivals
in Europe and Latin-American,
where it will continue to let stood the
Colombian cinematography and to consolidate
national emergent talents.
