On the contrary, Table 4 summarizes the<br />

values solely for the Fick Model, which is very<br />

reasonable since said model is for short study times,<br />

while the Schott Model is for longer times, and in the<br />

evaluation of the swelling degree at 40 °C, the<br />

average absorption of the hydrogels was established<br />

up to 600 minutes. At this point, desorption was<br />

presented; this explains why the model is not<br />

adjusted for swelling at this temperature. The first<br />
