provisoire de première intention dans les cas d’édentement
important. En effet, il est impératif de rétablir les courbes
fonctionnelles, en éliminant les grossières malocclusions
(égressions, articulé inversé, destructions coronaires) et en
favorisant la répartition des forces occlusales sur l’ensemble des
arcades (compensation des édentations).
La gouttière occlusale reste un élément d’une approche
thérapeutique globale intervenant, essentiellement, pour
renforcer la prise en charge personnelle du patient [1, 12] .
