2.2.1.2 Insertion du groupement gem-difluoré <strong>par</strong> addition d’un synthon fluoré<br />

Il existe différentes p<strong>et</strong>ites molécules perm<strong>et</strong>tant l’incorporation <strong>de</strong> groupements gem-<br />
difluorés avec création d’une liaison C-C. Un exemple est l’insertion d’un carbène difluoré.<br />
Celui-ci peut notamment réagir avec une oléfine afin <strong>de</strong> former un cyclopropane difluoré, ou<br />
s’insérer dans une liaison nucléophile - hydrogène. Le groupe <strong>de</strong> Koch a <strong>par</strong> exemple<br />
effectué c<strong>et</strong>te insertion sur la 5-hydroxy-2-(4-nitrophénylazo)pyridine en utilisant le<br />
chlorodifluorométhane en présence <strong>de</strong> carbonate <strong>de</strong> potassium. 68 La formation du carbène<br />
se fait <strong>par</strong> déprotonation du chlorodifluorométhane puis élimination α <strong>de</strong> chlorure.<br />

Concernant la formation <strong>de</strong> cyclopropanes gem-difluorés <strong>par</strong> insertion <strong>de</strong> carbène<br />
difluoré sur une oléfine, le groupe <strong>de</strong> Kobayashi a effectué c<strong>et</strong>te réaction sur divers acétates<br />
allyliques en utilisant le chlorodifluoroacétate <strong>de</strong> sodium pour générer le carbène difluoré. 69<br />
Celui-ci est obtenu <strong>par</strong> décarboxylation du réactif puis élimination du chlorure.<br />

Un autre exemple est l’addition <strong>de</strong> gem-difluoroallylmétaux <strong>et</strong> <strong>de</strong> gem-<br />
difluoropro<strong>par</strong>gylmétaux sur <strong>de</strong>s aldéhy<strong>de</strong>s, conduisant à la formation d’alcools α-gem-<br />
difluorés. C<strong>et</strong>te addition a notamment été réalisée sur le benzaldéhy<strong>de</strong> avec <strong>de</strong>s dérivés<br />
