SWISSThis watch features an oversized date windowwith two single-digit disks that rotateindependently of one another.BIG DATE CHRONOGRAPHEach day, during the calendar “jump phase”– the hours between 10:00 pm and 12:00midnight – the date will change automatically.NOTE: The date may be adjusted manuallyduring these hours; however it must be setto the following day: the date will not automaticallychange at midnight if it has beenmanually adjusted during the jump phase.To manually adjust Big Date display:(see Figure 4)1. NOTE: On ESQ by Movado Big DateChronograph models, tenths-of-a-secondcounter G will run continuously for the first30 seconds after the chronograph feature isengaged, then return to 0 and remain on 0until chronograph is stopped. When chronographis stopped, hand G will advance toindicate elapsed tenths-of-a-second like anystandard quartz chronograph. If the chronographruns for more than 30 minutes, thentenths-of-a-second hand G will become anhour-recorder, measuring 10 hours per onecomplete rotation.To operate Big Date Chronograph:For Chronograph function overview, Simplechronograph functions, Accumulated timefunctions, Split-time or intermediate timefunctions, and First-place and runner-upresults, please see instructions for AnalogChronographs 1/10 Second.To synchronize hands on Big DateChronograph:After changing the battery, or in the event ofan error, the chronograph hands can berealigned to zero if needed. A single push(quick press and release) of button A willadvance the selected hand by one increment.To advance hand rapidly, depress and holdpush button A for longer than one second.1. Pull crown out to position 3.2. Press and hold buttons A and B simultaneouslyfor at least 2 seconds to enter correctivemode: Center-mounted chronographhand C will rotate 360º, indicating mode hasbeen activated.3.
