SCREW-DOWN CROWNSome ESQ sport watches are equipped witha special screw-down crown that helps sealthe case against water and moisture. Beforeattempting to set the time or date, you mustfirst unlock the screw-down crown by turningit counterclockwise until it loosens(approximately six rotations).After your watch has been set to the correcttime and date (following instructions forCalendar Models, Figure 2), the crown mustbe screwed back down into the case toensure water resistance:1. Return the crown to position 1, flushagainst case.2. Turn the crown clockwise while gentlypressing in on it.3. Continue to turn the crown until you feelresistance. Do not over-tighten.TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTYESQ by Movado will, within two years from dateof purchase, repair or replace, at ESQ by Movado’soption, the movement of your timepiece free ofcharge if such movement proves to be defectivein material or workmanship under normal use.This warranty does not cover damage or defectsarising from accidents, misuse or neglect, or fromany alterations, service or repair performed by anyparty other than ESQ by Movado or an authorizedESQ by Movado service center. This warranty doesnot cover batteries, leather straps, bracelets, crystals,or cases; and is void if the timepiece was not purchasedfrom an authorized ESQ by Movado dealer.Any other warranty provided by the retailer, isentirely their responsibility.
