PreparationsGeneral remarks• If you have no or little experience with airplane models, youshould first practice with a Flight simulation program.• Seek advice from an experienced R/C user for the first fewattempts.• Acquaint yourself with the control functions of thetransmitter.• Begin your flight experiments standing behind the model,the line of sight in the flight direction. In this case, the controlreaction is the same as the direction of control.Furthermore acquaint yourself with the control of the model asit comes towards you (side-inverted reaction to the direction ofcontrol)!Charging and installation of the airplanebatteriesAlways charge the battery outside of the model!• Connect the battery charger with the battery adapter.• Plug the plug battery charger in a power socket.• Put the battery in a metal bowl and• Connect the battery with the battery charger.• Make sure that the connector is inserted correctly to avoid ashort circuit.• Do not cover the battery!The charging time for the Helicopter battery is about 90minutes.Do not charge the battery for longer than the specified time,since excessive charging may result in overheating anddamage to the battery.The temperature of the battery should not exceed 60°C duringthe charging process.The battery will not be fully charged if it is not charged for thefull 90 minutes. This will influence the flight time and the flightcharacteristics.GBLipo BalanceCharger• Connect the lipo balance charger to the power supply‘scable.• Connect the lipo battery‘s white balance connector to thelipo balance charger.• The battery is completely charged when all 3 leds flash upgreen.Push the airplane battery from the rearinto the recess in the fuselage.• Thread the battery cable under the fuselage through therunning gear (1) and• connect to the battery with the flight controller.If you run the battery cable above the fuselage, the cabin hoodcan only be attached with difficulty.To dismantle the battery, proceed in the opposite sequence.CARSON Helicopter Airbeast 50701315
