RC functions of the helicopterThe following functions are controlledwith the two remote control levers of theportable transmitter.For every control function there is a trim slider on the remotecontrol transmitter which permits minor corrections of theneutral position.Vertical axis(Tail)GBPitch function(ascend / descend)The pitch function controls the flying height of this modelhelicopter over a common variation in speed of the two rotors.The control takes place with the left control lever. To do this,move it forwards and backwards in a continuously variablefashion. Contrary to the other control functions this lever doesnot spring back into the middle position. If the control lever istotally drawn towards the back, then the motors are off and therotors stand still. If the control lever is pushed forward then themotor starts running and the rotors run with increasing speeddepending on the lever position.In the middle position of the control lever, the helicopter shouldhover at a fixed height.Tail function(Rudder function)The tail function causes a rotation of the model around thevertical axis. Since the helicopter has two opposed rotors, notorque ensues around the vertical axis at the same speed ofthe rotors (rotor shaft). The helicopter also therefore requiresno tail rotor for stabilization. In order for the model to be able torotate around the vertical axis (rotor shaft), the rotors must runat slightly different speeds. The resulting torque introduces therotation.At less speed of the steering rotor compared to the bearingrotor, the torque of the bearing rotor is greater, the helicopterturns around the vertical axis in the direction of rotation of thesteering rotor. At higher speed of the steering rotor, the torqueof the bearing rotor is less than that of the steering rotor andthe helicopter turns in the direction of the bearing rotor.The tail function is controlled with the right control lever. If thelever is moved to the left, the tip of the fuselage turns to theleft. If you move the lever to the right, the tip of the fuselagelikewise turns to the right.Transverse axis(Nick)Roll function(Aileron function)The roll function causes the lateral flight of the helicopter by thelateral lifting and dropping of the wobble plate.The control takes place with the right control lever.If the lever is moved to the left, then the model hovers laterallyto the left. Moving the lever to the right makes the model movelaterally to the right.Nick function(Elevator function)Horizontal axis(Roll)The nick function causes forwards and backwards flight ofthe helicopter by raising and lowering the wobble plate. Thelower rotor rotation tips slightly downwards and the model tiltsaround the transverse axis.
