“
For months, the Triumph design workshop team collaborated behind closed doors with the stunt
team from the film to configure several feature motorcycles for the movie, including special
preparations of Tiger 900 and Scrambler 1200 models to handle the extreme and dynamic action
sequences – and the film’s world-class stunt riders – demanded.”
“We loved the look of the Scrambler 1200, and we already knew we would use those in No Time
To Die, but then Triumph offered us several prototypes of a bike that hadn’t yet been launched at
that time, and that was the Tiger 900. The whole stunt team realised very quickly that these were
amazing bikes. We rode those bikes so much in Off-Road Pro mode and the things are amazing...
absolutely incredible.”
Limited Bond Edition
Triumph announces the arrival of a new star in its range of models, based on the world-class
Scrambler 1200 XE. It celebrates the partnership with the production company EON in the most
recent film of the famous secret agent, who undoubtedly holds no secrets for anyone, the unique
007, again played by Daniel Craig himself.
The result is a limited edition hybrid motorcycle, with only 250 models available worldwide, the
first official motorcycle entirely associated with this successful franchise. The machine with a
dynamic role proudly presents all the features and impressive capabilities on the screen: spoked
wheels, Arrow exhaust, high level front mudguard, a custom headlight, footpegs with improved
grip, streamlined handlebars, unique hand guards, the huge Triumph logo on the fuel tank, the Bond
Edition stitched seat and the frame sporting a satin black paint finish.
The chassis includes a Showa fork, Öhlins shock absorber, Brembo calipers and discs and heat shield
plates sporting the 007 logo. The famous logo is also displayed on the colour TFT instrument startup
screen when the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition comes to life.
Bond will be faster than ever
The engine selected is identical to the XE version, the parallel twin borrowed from the Thruxton
T120, and generates 90 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and 110 lb-ft of torque. The familiar impressions of
this powerplant are instant throttle response, omnipresent torque and efficient, yet smooth engine
braking. The gearbox is easy to use and has a well-balanced gear ratio sequence.
The electronic steering assist package will increase the secret agent’s riding abilities thanks to
adjustable traction control, a switchable optimised ABS cornering system and a 5-mode ride
mapping system.
Exclusivity is the name of the game when sitting astride this limited version, which marks the 25th
feature film in the series.
