Nota Le seguenti informazioni sono destinate ad amministratori server.<br />
Quando si installa <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>, si decide se <strong>di</strong>stribuirlo su una sola macchina o su più macchine.<br />
In caso <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>stribuzione su più macchine, una è sempre master e le altre sono worker.<br />
• La macchina master è sempre quella su cui viene installato il server database.<br />
• Le macchine worker sono quelle su cui viene eseguito il Motore per la Pubblicazione Web<br />
o il <strong>Server</strong> Web.<br />
In caso <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>stribuzione su un’unica macchina, tutti i componenti vengono eseguiti su una macchina<br />
che può essere considerata quella master.<br />

Dopo aver installato <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong> sulla macchina master, l’Assistente <strong>di</strong>stribuzione guida<br />
l’utente attraverso il processo <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>stribuzione dei componenti <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>.<br />
L’Assistente <strong>di</strong>stribuzione aiuta l’utente a eseguire le seguenti operazioni:<br />
• Creare un account amministratore da utilizzare per accedere alla Admin Console <strong>di</strong><br />
<strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />
• Caricare un file delle impostazioni per i programmi e i gruppi creato da un’installazione precedente<br />
• Impostare il nome della <strong>di</strong>stribuzione <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />
• Consentire la con<strong>di</strong>visione tramite ODBC e JDBC (richiesta licenza <strong>FileMaker</strong><br />
<strong>Server</strong> Advanced)<br />
• Consentire la Pubblicazione Web e selezionare le relative tecnologie da utilizzare<br />
• Selezionare un tipo <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>stribuzione e, in caso <strong>di</strong> <strong>di</strong>stribuzione su più macchine, assegnare i<br />
ruoli macchina<br />
• Specificare un server Web (quando la Pubblicazione Web è attivata)<br />
• Visualizzare i risultati dell’installazione una volta installato <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>.<br />
È inoltre possibile verificare la <strong>di</strong>stribuzione dopo la configurazione iniziale e apportare mo<strong>di</strong>fiche successive<br />
secondo le proprie necessità. Vedere la sezione Mo<strong>di</strong>fica <strong>di</strong> una <strong>di</strong>stribuzione <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>.<br />
Nota Se si abbandona l’Assistente <strong>di</strong>stribuzione durante la <strong>di</strong>stribuzione iniziale, l’Admin Console<br />
viene chiusa e <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong> non viene installato. Ogni volta che si tenta <strong>di</strong> avviare l’Admin<br />
Console viene avviato l’Assistente installazione per terminare la <strong>di</strong>stribuzione <strong>di</strong> <strong>FileMaker</strong> <strong>Server</strong>.<br />
