Welcome to Barry’s homeland. His descendants take up their quarters on the Saint Bernard Pass (alt. 2469 m) in summer and you can visit them
at the Saint Bernard Dog Museum in Martigny in July 2006. The Roman town is famous for its art exhibitions and is an ideal gateway to lead you
on excursions of discovery to the foot of Mont Blanc or the Matterhorn. The region is a paradise for hikers offering historic trails, woodland paths,
gorge crossings, wine trails and routes to alpine pastures.
Ovronnaz, nestling at the foot of the Muverans chain and Saillon, a charming mediaeval town, are both thermal resorts offering sporting activities
such as mountain biking and paragliding. Drink in the natural beauty of the landscape around La Tzoumaz with its exceptional surroundings, or on
the shores of Lake Champex, in the Val Ferret or the Trient Valley. Make a journey aboard the funicular the highlight of your stay. The 2 cabins are
the steepest in the world!

Benvenuti nella regione d’origine di Barry. Le sue comparse s’installano al Colle del St-Bernard in estate (alt. 2469 m) e possono essere visitate
al museo del cane del St-Bernard a Martigny (luglio 2006). La città romana vive al ritmo delle sue esposizioni d’arte e v’invita a scoprire straordinarie
escursioni ai piedi del Monte Bianco e del Monte Cervino. Paradiso degli escursionisti, la regione vi offre una scelta d’itinerari storici e sentieri
boscosi attraverso le gole, ma anche tra i vigneti e sugli alpeggi.
Con Ovronnaz, appollaiato ai piedi della catena dei Muverans, e Saillon, affascinante borgo medievale, la regione conta 2 stazioni termali e offre
attività sportive come il VTT o il parapendio. Sia che ci si trovi alla Tzoumaz, che gode d’una situazione eccezionale, o ai bordi dei laghi di Champex,
