EUROSCIENCE OPEN FORUM<br />
PASSIONE PER LA SCIENZA<br />
<strong>Torino</strong> ha ospitato l’e<strong>di</strong>zione <strong>2010</strong> <strong>di</strong> ESOF, dal<br />
2 al 7 luglio. L’Euroscience Open Forum è il<br />
meeting europeo biennale de<strong>di</strong>cato alla ricerca e<br />
all’innovazione scientifica ideato da Euroscience.<br />
Nei sette giorni <strong>di</strong> evento si sono registrati oltre<br />
4.300 partecipanti, più <strong>di</strong> 400 giornalisti accre<strong>di</strong>tati<br />
provenienti da tutto il mondo e un<br />
flusso <strong>di</strong> 75 mila persone che hanno animato<br />
le notti della città. ESOF <strong>2010</strong> ha conquistato<br />
anche la rete con 25 mila visite al sito in sette<br />
giorni, oltre 400 interventi su Twitter, 1.000<br />
utenti su Facebook e oltre 4.000 visualizzazioni<br />
<strong>di</strong> video on-demand delle sessioni ad evento.<br />
L’e<strong>di</strong>zione torinese dell’Euroscience Open Forum<br />
si è conclusa con la sorprendente cerimonia<br />
aerea sulla pista del Lingotto per il passaggio<br />
<strong>di</strong> consegne da <strong>Torino</strong> a Dublino, prossima<br />
città della scienza nel 2012.<br />

<strong>Torino</strong> hosted the <strong>2010</strong> e<strong>di</strong>tion of ESOF, July 2<br />
to 7. Created by Euroscience, the Euroscience<br />
Open Forum is the biennial European meeting<br />
de<strong>di</strong>cated to scientific research and innovation.<br />
In the seven-day event there were over 4,300<br />
participants, more than 400 accre<strong>di</strong>ted journalists<br />
from around the world and 75,000 people<br />
who enlivened the nights of the city.<br />
ESOF <strong>2010</strong> got a remarkable result over internet<br />
too, with 25,000 web visits in seven days,<br />
over 400 comments on Twitter, 1,000 users on<br />
Facebook and over 4,000 views of a video-ondemand<br />
sessions for each event.<br />
The Euroscience Open Forum e<strong>di</strong>tion in <strong>Torino</strong><br />
ended up with the surprising air ceremony on<br />
the roof car track at the Lingotto for the handover<br />
from <strong>Torino</strong> to Dublin, next science city<br />
in 2012.<br />
