ruggine, punti sverniciati o ammaccati”, spiega Borella.
Fino a
quel momento, i robot gestivano solo la movimentazione”,
welcomed us at the company’s headquarters. “From
software development to mechanical design, we
have the skills to design and manufacture either stand
alone machines of automated plants in line. All of our
machines are customized and start from the customer’s
requirements and, then, from the search of the best
solution”.
DYMACO GROUP has a mechatronic approach to
design, that is to say an “interdisciplinary approach
based on the synergy between mechanical, electronic
and IT engineering: all skills that can be found within the
company”, explains Mr Borella.
Along with fluid processing and energy sectors,
automotive is the main sector for the company.
“We were pioneers in artificial vision and robotic
measurements applied to automotive lighting, in
particular”, continues Mr Magri, fully aware of the
requirements of a changing sector. “Nowadays, a
product conception and its production management
should consider the requirements of automation.
That’s why the co-design process with the customer is
widespread as a tool to get innovative achievements.
Especially the automotive field requires a lower and
lower time-to-market, with machines and equipments
capable to work reliably 24/7. Besides, the customer
expects a very professional and prompt customer
assistance. We can offer all this too”.
The need for an accurate testing
compliant with a short cycle time
The practical demonstration of what has been said
so far was on display at BIMU. We are talking about a
technologically advanced machine for the surface
inspection of an automotive component: in detail,
a system capable to detect any possible flaw in the
painting process of brake callipers.
“The customer needed to test the painting process of
