Prima di tre anni fa, FANUC non considerava
la sorgente laser come un componente
ma un accessorio al CNC. Da quando però
l’azienda ha scelto di suddividere commercialmente
il proprio pacchetto, la clientela
FANUC si è ampliata e diversificata: c’è chi
da FANUC acquista CNC, azionamenti e motori,
e c’è chi - avendo già il proprio HMI e il
relativo software - si rivolge esclusivamente
all’azienda per la sorgente laser. “Come FA-
NUC cerchiamo sempre di promuovere il
pacchetto completo (l’integrazione tra CNC
e sorgente laser assicura un controllo assoluto
sull’intero processo di taglio), ma se il
cliente è alla ricerca di qualcosa di diverso
siamo in grado di soddisfarlo” spiega Mora.
“Ci tengo comunque a sottolineare che in
ogni caso lo sviluppo dell’applicazione è a
carico del cliente, che la gestisce in totale

Having launched on the market its first fibre laser, FANUC is now able to offer
a truly complete integrated solution made up of CNC and laser source (CO 2
or fibre), easy to connect to any sheet metal cutting system. But the real
novelty, more than any other aspect, is FANUC’s new approach to the cutting
system manufacturing industry, which it can now provide with much greater
flexibility in the choice of a complete integrated solution or of single and
specific components such as CNC or the laser source.
In the past, whoever decided to invest in FANUC
products in the laser domain necessarily had
to purchase a package made up of CNC, drive
and engines. During the past three years, however,
the company’s sales policy changed and
became “flexible”: FANUC clients may now
choose to invest just in some products, for instance,
only numeric control or only the laser
source, or in the complete integrated solution.
Along with this “change of policy” (which represented
a quantum shift for the company), about
a year ago FANUC launched its first fibre laser,
building on the success obtained on the market
in over thirty years of presence of its CO 2
laser.
