Inner Surface is a contemporary collective exhibition
hosted in the unique setting of Pignano Art Gallery, a
dialogue between three artists and techniques, investigating
the theme of surface deepness.
Inner Surface is an oxymoron gathering to itself the potentiality
of going deeply into by way of careful observation of
time and nature, opening a perspective not limited to the
mere surface appearance but inviting the fascinating discovery
of the detail just beneath.
An exploration of the material, ranging from the surface
reflections to the structure concealed inside and within, defined
in the masterful bronze works of the German sculptor
Janine von Thüngen, in the photography on metals of the
Polish artist Tadeusz Niescier and in the mixed techniques
of the Italian painter Antonello Viola.
Inner Surface, an ode to silent contemplation, remains
open to public in the harmonious countryside luxury retreat
Borgo Pignano (Volterra) from July to 31 October.
The exhibition is curated by VELATHRI ART GALLERY,
whose two main galleries are located in the historical center
of San Gimignano, presenting art which brings to the foreground
of human awareness the connection with nature.

Inner Surface è una collettiva d’arte contemporanea
ospitata nella suggestiva cornice della Pignano Art
Gallery, l’esposizione propone tre artisti e tre tecniche
a confronto che dialogano sul tema della profondità della
superficie.
Inner Surface è un ossimoro che raccoglie in sé il potenziale
di penetrazione di uno sguardo attento, di una prospettiva
non limitata alla semplice apparenza ma di un’affascinante
scoperta del dettaglio sottostante.
Un’esplorazione della materia, dai riflessi emanati fino alla
struttura celata all’interno, declinata nelle magistrali opere
scultoree della tedesca Janine Von Thungen, nella fotografia
di Tedeusz Niescier e nelle tecniche miste del pittore
Antonello Viola.
Un’ode alla contemplazione silenziosa, ospitata nella galleria
del resort di Borgo Pignano (Volterra) fino al 31 Ottobre.
La mostra è curata da VELATHRI ART GALLERY, la cui
mission è promuovere l’arte contemporanea che riconnetta
la consapevolezza umana alla sua appartenenza al
mondo naturale, espressa nelle esposizioni principali delle
gallerie situate nel centro storico di San Gimignano.
