Un salon qui bruisse de vie, où derrière les masques, pointait un sourire. Une impression de joie ressentie par tous ceux présents à ce 43 ème salon d’IFTM Top Resa et particulièrement par Frédéric Lorin, son Directeur. “Clairement ce n’était pas gagné aussi bien vis-àvis du marché mais aussi chez nous lorsque s’est posée la question de tenir ce salon. Grand bien nous a pris d’aller de l’avant”, décrit-il. “ IL Y AVAIT UNE ÉNERGIE FOLLE ” Les encouragements sont venus de toute part. “ Il y avait une énergie folle. Ce n’est pas seulement ce que j’ai ressenti mais c’est également ce que j’ai entendu. Il faut dire que nous sommes le premier évènement tourisme qui reprend après 18 mois”, ajoute-t-il. Cet IFTM particulier est pour Frédéric Lorin une édition des retrouvailles, d’un recommencement annonçant une reprise de l’activité. “Une reprise cela ne se décrète pas. Mais IFTM est une pierre à l’édifice de cette dernière”, estime-t-il. Autre motif de satisfaction : le lancement de la “Région à l’Honneur”, en l’occurence la Corse. “La région a répondu tout de suite présent lorsque nous avons décidé d’introduire ce concept. On réfléchit d’ailleurs à éventuellement avoir en parallèle un “Pays à l’Honneur” et une “Région à l’Honneur” à l’avenir”. “A form of magic for this 43 rd edition of IFTM Top Resa” For Frédéric Lorin, Director of IFTM Top Resa, the 2021 vintage of IFTM was a form of magic, which was due in particular to the driving factor represented by the “reunion” of the profession. A trade fair that rustles with life, where behind the masks, one could generally always sense a smile. A sentiment of joy felt by all those present at this 43rd IFTM Top Resa show and especially by Frédéric Lorin, its Director. “Clearly, it was not a foregone conclusion vis-à-vis the market, but nor was it internally when the question was raised about holding this show. But it was good for us to move forward,” he stated. He says the encouragement came from all sides. “There was an incredible energy. It’s not only what I felt, but it’s what I heard. It must be said that we are the first tourism event to resume after 18 months.” “ THERE WAS AN INCREDIBLE ENERGY ” For Frédéric Lorin, this particular IFTM has been a veritable reunion, a renewal, more than a simple resumption of activity: “A recovery can’t be decreed, but IFTM is a building block.” Another reason for satisfaction: the launch of the “Region of Honour” - in this case, Corsica. “The region responded immediately when we decided to introduce this concept. Moreover, we are also thinking of eventually having a ‘Country of Honour’ and a ‘Region of Honour’ in parallel in the future”.
