Disse legemidlene har siden 1. mai 2006 vært
de foretrukne legemidlene ved behandling av
allergi og elveblest (allergisk utslett). Bare
pasienter som ikke kan bruke cetirizin eller
loratadin kan få andre antihistaminer
refundert.
Rhinologika og andre preparater til lokalt
bruk (R01AA)
Salget i ATC-gruppe R01AA har økt med
26 % i total DDD de siste fem årene (2003-
2007). Økningen skyldes økt omsetning av
xylometazolin (R01AA07), som også selges
utenom apotek (for omsetning av midler mot
nesetetthet som også omsettes utenom
apotek, se s. 15).

(ATC group R06) have decreased the latest
three years as a consequence of increased
generic substitution and measures taken by
the Norwegian government. Cetirizine and
loratadine have been included in the
“indexgroup” pricing system, and the graded
price model system. Since 1 st May 2006
these drugs should be the drugs of choice in
the treatment of allergy and urticaria. Other
antihistamines will only be reimbursed to
patients having medical reasons for not using
cetirizin and loratadin.
Decongestants and other nasal
preparations for topical use (R01AA)
Sales in the ATC group R01AA has increased
by 26 % in total DDDs the last five years
(2003-2007). The increase is due to
increased sales of xylometazoline
(R01AA07), which is also sold outside
pharmacies (sales of OTC drugs used as
decongestants see page 15).
