Antineoplastic and immunomodulating agents
Gruppen er den nest største målt i kroner og
hadde en omsetning på 2,6 milliarder kroner i
2007. Dette er en økning på 15 % i forhold til
2006 (se tabell 7, s. 22) og er mer enn en
dobling siden 2003.
Immunsuppressive legemidler (ATC
gruppe L04A)
Denne legemiddelgruppen er tredoblet siden
2003 og står nå for halvparten av kostnadene
i ATC gruppe L. Hovedsakelig er dette
legemidler til behandling av reumatoid artritt
og andre immunrelaterte sykdommer. Midlene
virker modifiserende på immunsystemet. Den
viktigste undergruppen er tumor nekrose
faktor alfa-blokkerende stoffer (TNFalfablokkere;
etanercept, infliximab og
adalimumab). Disse tre stoffene var i 2007
henholdsvis nr 1, 3 og 7 på listen over de 10
mest solgte reseptbelagte legemidlene i
Norge (se tabell 2, s. 19)
I 2007 utgjorde salget av TNF-alfa-blokkerne
983 millioner kroner (AUP), en økning på
14 % fra 2006. Dette utgjør nesten 7 % av
den totale omsetningen av legemidler i 2007.
Målt i DDD var økningen i 2007 på 18 %, men
disse legemidlene utgjør en svært liten andel
av totalforbruket målt i DDD.
ATC gruppe L
This group is the second largest measured in
NOK, and totalled 2.6 billion NOK, an
increase of 15 % compared to 2006 (see
table 7, p. 22) and is more than doubled since
2003.
Immunosuppressants (ATC group L04A)
This drug group has been three doubled
since 2003 and constitutes half of the costs in
NOK in ATC group L. The immunomodulating
agents for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
and other immune related diseases are
classified here. The drugs act as modifiers of
the immune system and the most important
sub-group is the tumor necrose factor alfablocking
agents (TNF-alfa-blockers;
etanercept, infliximab and adalimumab).
These three substances were in 2007 no. 1, 3
and 7, respectively, on the list of the ten most
sold POM medicines in Norway (see table 2,
p. 19)
In 2007 the sales of the TNF-alfa-blockers
totalled 983 million NOK, an increase of 14 %
from 2006. This amounts to around 7 % of
the total sales of drugs with a marketing
authorisation in Norway. Measured in DDDs
the increase from 2006 to 2007 was 18 %.
However, these agents constitute only a
minor part of the total sales measured in
DDD.
