Os trabalhos de modelação do terreno foram definidos de forma a garantir uma integração equilibrada na topografia original do terreno. Introduziram-se novas espécies que unificam a imagem da Quinta e funcionam como referência visual.
HORTO DO CAMPO GRANDE <strong>MAGAZINE</strong> 77 Projecto de integração paisagística Da autoria da “Entreplanos”, Gabinete de Arquitectura, Urbanismo e Design, a proposta de integração paisagística da Quinta de São Sebastião consistiu na recuperação e valorização do quadro paisagístico do jardim, enquadrando-o nas novas estruturas edificadas. De referir que os trabalhos de modelação do terreno pressupostos no projecto foram definidos tendo em conta o menor movimento de terras possível para garantir uma integração equilibrada na topografia original do terreno. O primeiro passo consistiu em desenvolver um estudo das reais condições fitossanitárias da vegetação existente no local para assim serem definidas as intervenções a realizar na mancha arbórea. A operação de maior relevo diz respeito à envolvente imediata aos blocos habitacionais, que ocupam a área a norte da Quinta de São Sebastião. Criou-se um traçado simples, delimitando áreas de acesso e de estada para os residentes. Ao longo do alçado sul, os logradouros, localizados principalmente junto dos três portões de entrada da Quinta, são delimitados por muros desenhados em arco que ajudam a definir o terreno e reforçam a sua modelação.
