are Parceiros Na Criação (Partners in the
Creation) in life and in wine. Their home,
Casa da Esteira (which literally means the
house with large sun shades) was built on
the Montravesso Estate in the heart of the
Douro Wine Region. However, Casa da
Esteira is more than just a physical space,
it’s a symbol that represents the union of
the four elements who live and work there:
Joana, João, and their two small children,
Teresa and António.
