he main story in this issue of REFERÊNCIA Madeira
Industrial highlights the ten years of activities
of XH MAR BETHLEHEM. This Company
from the State of Santa Catarina has consolidated
itself in generating thermal energy. It has
grown by investing in innovation and technology to ensure
efficiency and safety for its customers. Another highlight is
the holding of Ligna 2023 in Germany, the world’s largest fair
of the wood sector, which presented the latest news for the
improvement of the industrial activity of the Sector. The fair
attracted visitors and exhibitors worldwide, including Brazilian
companies. In the Interview editorial, Fabiana Lopes
de Oliveira, along with two other professionals, edited the
book: A madeira industrializada na arquitetura contemporânea
brasileira (Industrialized Wood in Contemporary Brazilian
Architecture), talks about the work that addresses the
use of industrialized wood in the construction system. Other
articles in this issue highlight Brazil’s participation in the global
plywood market and the installation of Biesse in Curitiba
(PR), among additional information about the economy and
