Immediately after the University he takes the Degree of a
Doctor of Philology at the Language and Literature Institute of
the Academy from Moldova.

From this time on, his working field is linguistics „as the neatest”,
and „the branchiest” at the same time.
It’s worth throwing light on two Gheorghe Popa’s science features
of the charac ter, on one hand the modesty of „a king of shyness”,
influenced by the aw areness of „c omplexity, polifunctionalism,
multiaspect and polifolism” of his research paper topic, on
the other hand it was „horror” towards the narrow linguistic experience
of the „branchy” language science.The first feature of
his c harac ter dic tated the existence in the world of Human Relations:
professor Gheorghe Popa has never „organized” reviews
and invitations, but he worked very hard without waiting for the
effects.
The second item speaks about Gheorghe Popa’s wisdom to
explain a variety of linguistic problems: from the Theoretic al
Linguistics to the troubles of Punctuation and Spelling. These
