1.3.3 Clamping the wheels
Preparation
Check the following points before you mount the wheel:
- Dirt and old balancing weights must be removed from the wheel
- Check the total weight of the wheel
Raise the wheel
The way in which the tyre will be lifted and handled is determined when the wheel is
placed on the clamping plate.
If the weight is less than 25 kg, lifting can be carried out by one person.
If the weight exceeds 25 kg, lifting must be carried out by two persons or by a wheel lift.
If the weight exceeds 50 kg, lifting must be carried out by a wheel lift.
