Press the tyre bead down against the opposite side of the
assembly head.
Then use the pneumatic assembly finger to lever the tire over the
assembly head. During levering, the tyre moves into the dropcentre
of the wheel rim and facilitates simple and damage-free
assembly.
Press down the gear change pedal for the rotational motion of
the clamping plate so the rotational motion starts clockwise.
Whilst doing so, continue to hold the assembly iron on the bar of
the assembly head by pressing the iron against the assembly
head.
As soon as approx. 1/3 of the tyre bead has passed the rim
flange, there should be enough room to remove the assembly
iron.
Continue with the rotational motion until the whole tyre is above
the rim flange.
Lower the auxiliary arm until the hold-down roller is level with the
lower rim flange. Then set the distance between the roller and
the rim by positioning and fixing the roller approx. 1mm from the
rim flange.
To pry open the lower tire bead, first move the assembly finger
to the lowest position.
Now lift the tire until it is level with the drop center of the rim.
Then position the tire bead just above the pneumatic assembly
finger using the control lever of the pneumatic assembly finger,
lift the tire bead over the rim and start rotating in the same way
as with the upper bead.
