Plywood:
Use of plywood began in 1930’s in
Turkey and it has become the top
materials used by the furniture and
construction industries. Following
the growing efforts to develop better
and better materials to be used
in the furniture industries in the
world, now it is one of the most
used materials in the manufacturing
of home and office furniture
and in building industry.
It is made of special sized thin
plates of woods that are obtained
through peeling operations of
trees by special machinery. These
thin plates were stacked vertically
on top of each other with glue as
three, five or seven layers and then
they are pressed to for a dependable
element to be used in furniture
industry.
Since they are rather thin and are
flexible to a certain extend, these
plates it is used as decorative materials.
Having a natural appearance
and resistant to water. Plywood is
mostly obtained from pine, spruce,
alder, maple and walnut trees. Naturally,
the value of the plywood depends
on the origin of the tree and
the quality of production process.
Blockboard:
One of the most used materials
used in furniture industry is
contraboard, produced a special
technology and process. Its production
process is similar to those

yapıda olan ve çok kolay eğim verilebilen
kontrplak dekorasyon çalışmalarında
rahatlıkla kullanılabilir. Doğal bir
görünüme sahip olup suya dayanıklıdır.
Kontrplak çam, ladin, kızılağaç,
akçaağaç, ceviz gibi ağaçlardan elde
edilmektedir.
Kontratabla:
Başka bir malzeme türü olan kontratabla
da kendine özel teknoloji ve işleyişi
ile sık kullanılan bir malzeme olarak
karşımıza çıkar. Kontrplak gibi üst
süte levhaların birbirine belirli basınç
