İstanbul’da bulunan merkeznde öneml br etknlğe ev sahplğ yapıyor. 

Sektör profesyoneller ve basın mensuplarının davet edldğ 

Open House Etknlğ, 22 Kasım’da düzenlenen açılışla gerçekleşt. 

Dört gün boyunca 10.00 la 16.00 saatler arasında devam eden 

etknlkte, GNC Makna sektöre hang makneler aracılığı le nasıl 

hzmetler verdğn uygulamalar, sunumlar ve demo parça şlemeler 

le tanıttı. 

GNC Makna’nın Genel Merkez’nde 22-25 Kasım tarhler arasında 

bu yıl lk kez düzenlenen Open House etknlğnn, sektör profesyoneller 

ve basın mensuplarının katılımıyla açılışı yapıldı. Dört gün boyunca 

devam eden etknlkte Yönetm Kurulu başta olmak üzere tüm 

GNC Makna ekb, GNC Makna’nın mümessllğn üstlendğ marka 

temslcler ve sektör profesyoneller katılımcılara ürünlern tanıttılar. 

GNC Makina, one of the major players in the machining 

industry, is hosting an important event at its headquarters 

in Istanbul. 

The Open House event, to which industry professionals and members 

of the press have been invited, kicked off with an opening 

ceremony on 22 November.During the event, which continues for 

four days from 10.00 to 16.00, GNC Makina showed how it provides 

services to the sector through its machines with applications, 

presentations and demo parts machining. Open House, held for 

the first time this year at GNC Makina’s headquarters from 22 to 25 

November, was inaugurated with the participation of industry professionals 

and members of the press. During the four-day event, 

the entire GNC Makina team, in particular the Board of Directors, 

representatives of the brands represented by GNC Makina and 

industry professionals presented their products to the participants.

etknlkte açılış konuşmasını katılımcılara teşekkür ederek başlayan GNC Makna Yönetm 

Kurulu Üyes ve Genel Müdür’ü Gökhan Yıldız sözlerne şu şeklde devam ett: “Open 

House konseptl lk organzasyonumuzu gerçekleştrmş bulunuyoruz. Günün erken saatler 

olmasına rağmen göstermş olduğunuz yoğun katılım ve szlerden aldığımız güçlü enerj, bu etknlğ 

br geleneğe dönüştürme planlarımıza dar motvasyonumuzu daha da pekştryor. Bugün 

burada szlere br yönüyle GNC’y daha yakından tanıma mkanı sunarken, dğer yönüyle 

de szler, beklentlernz ve önerlernz öğrenme fırsatına erşyoruz. Sektör adına çok kıymetl

gelşyor. Yne görünen o k, daha önceden sıklıkla kullanılan k ya da üç eksenl torna ve şlem 

merkezlernn sayısı günden güne azalıyor, br parçayı daha hızlı üretmenn yen ve etkl yolları 

aranıyor. Maknenn ntelğn arttırmak, hızlandırmak başta olmak üzere öneml yleştrmelern 

gerçekleştrlmes zorunlu br hal alıyor. Bz GNC olarak bunun farkındayız. Bu nedenle ürün

Alexander Pavlov, General Manager of NPP Polyplastic, and Ersel 

Filiz, General Manager of Polimer Teknik, signed a cooperation 

agreement for future projections at Polimer Teknik’s facility in Bursa. 

Noting the necessity of interacting with suppliers from friendly countries, 

NPP Polyplastic General Manager Pavlov said, “Polimer Teknik will be an 

important partner for us against sanctions on Russian compound producers 

and the ban on imports of machinery and equipment from Western 

countries. The engineering industry is developing, and this is critical to 

providing a seamless production process. We appreciate Polimer Teknik’s 

capabilities and potential, which regularly offers market developments 

and continuously improves its solutions. The next step of our cooperation 

agreement is to sign another contract for the supply of production equipment 

between our companies.” 

Ersel Filiz, General Manager of Polimer Teknik, emphasized the importance 

of cooperation with Russia’s leading compound producer NPP Polyplastics, 

stating, “Such interaction will not only allow us to share our experiences in 

scientific and technical activities and the presence of poex equipment in the 

Russian market, but also have a positive impact on strengthening industrial 

ties between Russia and Turkey. Developing a strategic partnership in the 

plastic processing market between our countries will serve as an example for 

other markets.” Representatives from NPP Polyplastic predict that demand 

for polypropylene-based polymer compounds will increase by 11% between 

2024 and 2026, highlighting the expectation of economic recovery in line 

with the strong growth in manufacturing industry indicated in the Consolidated 

Development Strategy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

Equipped with a powerful sensor combination, the new INNOSORT FLAKE sorts 

polymers by material type and color, removing any impurities to create pure fractions. 

Thanks to its advanced near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer, the machine precisely 

detects various polymers, allowing for the recovery of recyclable materials from 

highly contaminated infeed. With this technology, plastics recovered from mixed 

waste, for example, can be sorted for recycling, giving access to more recyclable 

materials that otherwise would be lost or downcycled for lower-grade applications. 

For instance, polyolefins (PO), such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), 

are often found comingled in the same waste stream. 

With the new INNOSORT FLAKE, mixed plastic fractions that have been shredded 

and washed can be sorted into clean fractions of PET, PP and PE and other materials 

that meet the quality requirements for extrusion and the creation of high-quality 

post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. Moreover, plant operators profit from the 

machine’s unmatched color sorting performance. 

Its enhanced optics, with a changeable color background and dual-sided highresolution 

cameras, detect millions of colors and create single-color fractions. Its high 

contrast imaging can even differentiate between white opaque and natural, transparent 

and translucent flakes, reducing material losses and maximizing yield. Piovesan 

adds: ”The new INNOSORT FLAKE is designed to sort any color, any polymer, at 

the same time. It levels the playing field for recyclers and gives them maximum flexibility

As Polymak Engineering, we have been serving in the machinery sector since 1998 by 

supplying, selling and marketing activities in line with the demands of our customers. 

We assist our customers operating in the manufacturing of packaging production machines, 

packaging and wrapping machines in the supply of conveyor products and equipment, especially 

linear product groups such as rails, trolleys, ball screws, nuts (linear motion elements) 

from the product groups we supply on the basis of representation and distributorship. 

Packaging and wrapping machines, which are needed and used in many sectors, vary according 

to the products to be packaged or wrapped.

Bu ürün grubunda da Japon KHK ve İtalyan GFM markalarının 1,5- 

2 ve 3 modül ürünler dahlnde terch edlen makne malatı yapan 

müşterlermze yardımcı olmaktayız. 

Ambalaj üretm ve ambalaj paketleme maknalarında üretlen ürünlern 

letlmes veya paketlenecek ürünlern makneye ulaştırılması 

veya paketlenmş ürünlern sevk edlmes durumlarında söz konusu 

maknelern grş veya çıkış bölümlernde konveyör hatları yapılmaktadır. 

Bu bağlamda da bu konveyör hatlarının tasarımı ve malatı çn 

htyaç duyulan ve kullanılan konveyör bantları ve aksesuarlarının 

tedarğ konusunda da hzmet vermekteyz. Burada konveyör hattında 

kullanılacak bandın seçm taşınacak malzemeye ve şeklne, 

ürün ağırlığına bağlı olarak belrlenmes önemldr. Bu konuda kullanılablecek 

asetal (plastk) bantlar, paslanmaz çelk metal bantlar, 

boncuklu bantlar, omurga tp bantlar, modüler bantlar gb bant çeştler 

stoklarımızda yer almaktadır. Bu ürünlerde de Magrs, Rexnord, 

System Plast, C&S, CO&CO markalar, ürünler dahlnde müşterlermze 

seçenekler sunmaktayız. 

In this context, linear motion (linear) elements and equipment are

Here, it is important to make product selection by taking into account 

the carrying capacity of the rail slides, which can be preferred 

due to the low friction force in the horizontal and vertical 

movements of the machines. Another component used in the mechanical 

systems of packaging and packaging machines is the ball 

screw and nut. In this product group, we respond to the demands 

of our customers through FSI, FSC and FSH series in Hiwin brand 

and SFU, SFE, SCNI/SCI, BSHR, OFUR series in TBI Motion. 

Rack and pinions, which are also one of the product groups used 

in machine production, are generally used to convert linear motion 

into circular motion or vice versa, and are especially preferred 

in machines that require high power transmission. In this product 

group, we help our customers who manufacture preferred machines 

within the 1.5-2 and 3 module products of Japanese KHK 

and Italian GFM brands. 

Conveyor lines are made in the inlet or outlet sections of the machines 

in question in cases where the products produced in packaging 

production and packaging machines are transmitted or the 

products to be packaged are delivered to the machine or the packaged 

products are shipped. In this context, we also provide services 

in the supply of conveyor belts and accessories needed and 

used for the design and manufacture of these conveyor lines. Here, 

the choice of the belt to be used in the conveyor line is important 

to be determined depending on the material to be transported, its 

shape and product weight. We stock acetal (plastic) tapes, stainless 

steel metal tapes, beaded tapes, spine type tapes, modular 

tapes, etc. that can be used in this regard. In these products, we 

offer options to our customers within Magris, Rexnord, System 

Plast, C&S, CO&CO brands and products.

Like many companies specialized in their fields, we regret that we cannot offer this quality 

in our own country. For this reason, as machinery manufacturers, we are focusing more on

You have been in business for 40 years, can you give us information about the products you 

manufacture and their uses in the industry? 

The areas of use of plastic blow molding machines are increasing day by day. Not only 

drums and packaging; today, Plastic Blow Molding Machines are used in many sectors 

from automotive to white goods, from toys to defense industry. Although the same process 

is used as the process, each machine has different features and the machines are 

designed specifically for the manufacturer and the product. This means that every machine 

is an R&D for us. 

What kind of work are you doing to produce energy efficient machines? 

Especially with the torque motors we use to drive the extruder, we both increase efficiency and 

reduce energy consumption by 30%. With our hybrid and full electric machines, we emphasize 

energy efficiency and production efficiency. 

Where are your production facilities located? Can you give us information about your 

facilities, your employment profile and the quality certificates you hold? 

Our company is located in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. We also have an office for sales and after 

sales support in Russia and Poland.

things in-house when we manufacture 

our machines. We produce and 

collect hydraulic tanks, blocks and electrical 

panels in-house. This makes us more 

free in production. 

What are your current activities in product 

development? Are you a follower of 

technological developments? 

As I said before, every machine means 

R&D for us. While designing our machines, 

we cooperate with leading companies 

in the sector and act with our 

understanding of innovation in terms of 

technology every day. 

How was the 2023 for you? Could you 

tell us about your new investment plans, 

products or projects for 2024? 

In 2023, as in the previous year, we broke 

our own record in exports. We again actively 

produced projects in our major markets 

such as Russia and Africa. 

In 2024, we want to focus on full electric 

and multilayer machine production and 

concentrate on markets with such demands. 

How do you support your customers in 

terms of service and spare parts? 

As a standard, we guarantee 10 years of 

parts availability for each machine. Since 

service is a very important concept in blow 

molding machines, we attach great importance 

to service. It is very important for us 

that our machines do not stop and work 

continuously. 

For this reason, we have expanded our 

service team after 2021. We also provide 

remote support to ensure that Demak machines 

work wherever they are in the world 

without stopping for more than 24 hours.

What kind of a journey lies behind this success? 

In 1972, our plastic machinery company, whose foundations were laid by our elder Zafir 

ADINIR, was renamed Erol Plastik Makina Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi as of 1994. In 1999, our 

company realized its first overseas exports and today we continue our production, service, maintenance 

and repair services in 22 countries in 3 continents. In 2008, our company participated in its first 

international fair and continues to take part in fairs on various dates over time. In 2015, we continue to 

produce at full capacity with our renewed machine park and technological investments. 

What would you say if we asked you to talk about your efforts to maintain quality in production?

you tell us about your R&D activities? 

We must always be one step ahead of our competitors in developing 

technology. We apply technologies such as Scada and Industry 4.0, 

which are developing in our sector, to our lines in the best way. Our greatest 

wish is to introduce these technologies to our customers and ensure 

that they receive the best service. Apart from these, we test the raw materials 

that our customers will use with the extrusion lines within our own 

company and develop our machines with new machine configurations. 

What are the features that differentiate you from other companies 

in the sector, and that make you stand out? What are the 

most important factors for your customers to choose you? 

It is definitely the bilateral relationships we build with our customers. 

Our working principle does not include the idea that we should only

In response to the challenges of the international mechanical 

engineering industry, the gearbox specialist Neugart, headquartered 

in Kippenheim, Baden, is adjusting its management structure: for 

the first time in the company’s almost one hundred-year history, Swen

In the fight against the climate crisis, the collection and recycling 

of waste, contributing to the accumulation of greenhouse gases 

in the atmosphere and global warming, are of great importance. 

Feraye Gürel, General Manager of Solis Fair Organization and Consultancy 

Services Inc., emphasized the significant role of municipalities in 

the collection, recycling, and disposal of waste. Gürel announced the final 

preparations for the REWA Anatolia Recycling and Waste Management Fair 

and Conference, organized by Solis Renewable Hub, with the support of 

Adana Governorship, Adana Metropolitan Municipality, Çukurova Fair, Adana 

Chamber of Industry, Adana Chamber of Commerce, Adana Organized 

Industrial Zone, and Çukurova University, scheduled to take place for the 

first time in Adana at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center from February 

15 to 17, 2024. Gürel stated that this year, REWA Anatolia will host more 

than 80 participating companies and over 5,500 industry professionals

30.3 Million Tons Of Waste Collected in Municipalies 

Drawing attention to the critical role of municipalities in waste management 

and recycling, Feraye Gürel stated, “According to the latest data released 

by TUİK in November 2023; there are a total of 1,391 municipalities in our 

country, and waste services are provided in 1,389 of them. In municipalities 

providing waste services, 85.9% of the 30.3 million tons of waste collected 

is sent to waste processing facilities, 13.5% to municipal landfills, and 0.6% 

is disposed of by burning, burying, pouring into rivers, or dumping in the 

open. The per capita daily average waste collected in municipalities is calculated 

to be 1,03 kg. All these data underscore the responsibility of local 

governments and the power they have for combating the climate crisis. 

Therefore, we have chosen the motto, ‘Local Solutions, Global Impact: 

REWA Anatolia,’ and invite the participation of metropolitan and district 

municipalities from all 81 provinces to our fair.” 

Turkey is Vulnerable To The Effects Of Climate Change 

Referring to the COP 28 Conference, Gürel said, “As highlighted by our 

country’s participation with over a thousand representatives in the United 

Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference (COP 28) held in Dubai this 

year, Turkey is located in the Mediterranean Region, which is warming 20% 

more than the global average. This makes us vulnerable to the effects of 

climate change. REWA Anatolia believes that we can only solve the climate 

crisis by cleaning our doorstep first, hand in hand with all countries, and by 

generating local solutions to slow down global warming.”

Tüm bu olumsuz gelşmelere rağmen plastk sektörünün mktar olarak 

hracatını artırmanın yanı sıra yılı toplam üretmde de büyümeyle 

kapattığını belrtt. Plastk sektörünün 2023 yılını hem hracatta hem

yaşanan bölgesel çatışmaların ülke tcaretmz olumsuz 

etklemedğn gözlemledk. Hatta geleneksel hracat pazarlarımızdak 

talep daralmasına bağlı hracat kayıplarımız, bu doğru konumlanma 

sayesnde gelşen yen pazarlara açılmamız sayesnde telaf 

edld. Bu gelşmelerle brlkte, plastk hracatımız yılsonu tbaryle 

yaklaşık %2’lk artışla 4,6 mlyon tona yükseld. 

Ancak, küresel pyasalarda plastk hammadde fyatlarında yaşanan 

düşüş, hracatımızın değer bazında gerlemesne neden oldu ve 

hracatımız değer bazında yılı yaklaşık %7 cvarında br kayıpla tamamladı. 

Plastk sektörü, otomotv başta olmak üzere 30’dan fazla 

sektöre ara grd sağlamaktadır. 

Bu nedenle, hracatının öneml br bölümü dolaylı olarak gerçekleşmektedr. 

Hesaplamalarımıza göre, dolaylı hracatı da dkkate alarak 

plastk sektörünün 2023 yılı hracatının yaklaşık olarak 16 mlyar 

dolar sevyesnde gerçekleştğn söyleyeblrz” ded.

the performance of the plastic industry slowed down 

due to various negative factors such as earthquakes 

that caused the loss of many lives and properties, demand decrease 

in export markets, the election process, regional conflicts, 

and difficulties in accessing finance. The industry, which 

grew only by 2.5% in the first three quarters, showed gratifying 

performance in the last quarter, completing the year with around 

5% growth. 

Thanks to Turkey’s correct positioning in foreign relations, we observed 

that the regional conflicts in our geography did not negatively 

affect our country’s trade. In fact, our export losses due to 

demand decrease in traditional export markets were compensated 

by opening up to new markets through this correct positioning. 

With these developments, our plastic exports reached approximately 

4.6 million tons by the end of the year, showing an 

increase of about 2%. However, the decline in plastic raw material 

prices in the global markets led to a decrease in the value of 

our exports, and our exports completed the year with a loss of 

around 7% in value. 

The plastic industry provides inputs to more than 30 industries, 

especially automotive. Therefore, a significant portion of its exports 

is realized indirectly. Taking indirect exports into account, 

we can say that the plastic industry’s export in 2023 was approximately 

$16 billion.” 

Key to Value-Added Production: Qualified Workforce 

Karadeniz, expressing the need for a change in the industry’s 

production composition for high value-added production, said, 

“One of the most fundamental problems of our industry for years 

is that we produce low-value-added products. 

Despite setting continuous goals to transition to high value-added 

production, we should not overlook the fact that access to qualified 

human resources, which is the most important requirement 

for changing the production composition, is very limited. If we are 

to increase productivity as a country, we must invest our resources 

in education. 

On the other hand, another important issue that has rapidly 

gained importance in recent years is the ongoing financial bottleneck. 

Unfortunately, we see that financial institutions are tightening 

their terms and access to finance is becoming increasingly 

difficult in the current period. 

While companies struggle even to find working capital, investment 

plans are postponed, and as a result, our country loses its 

position to competitors in foreign trade. In order for our manufacturing 

industry to realize its growth potential, access to finance 

opportunities needs to be improved.”

Türkye İhracatçılar Mecls (TİM) Başkanı Mustafa Gültepe, üretm ve 

hracatın ülke ekonomsnn tc gücü olduğunu vurgulayarak, “ İhracatta 

11 ayda 233 mlyar dolar sınırına ulaştık. 2023’ün sonuçlarını Cumhurbaşkanımızın 

katılımıyla 2 Ocak’ta açıklayacağız. Bu yılı nşallah 255 

mlyar doların üzernde hracatla kapatacağız. Hzmet hracatında da 

100 mlyar dolar sınırına yaklaşacağımızı öngörüyoruz. Cumhuryetmzn 

100’üncü kuruluş yıl dönümünü hem mal hem de hzmet hracatında k 

rekorla tamamlayacağız. İhracatta en büyük pazarımız Avrupa Brlğ. 

Toplam hracatımızın yüzde 42’sn AB ülkelerne yapıyoruz. İngltere le brlkte 

Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (IKMIB), 

the pioneer of the Turkish chemical industry in exports, has released a 

new report that will serve as a compass for the change and transformation 

awaiting the sector in the light of the green economy and circular economy 

concepts that will directly affect the future of global trade. The introductory meeting 

of the “Chemicals Sector Sustainability Action Plan Report,” which was shared with 

sector representatives and exporters, was hosted by Adil Pelister, Chairman of the 

Board of the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association 

(IKMIB), with the participation of Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters 

Assembly (TIM), the Board of Directors of IKMIB and members of the press. 

Gültepe: “Compliance with the Green Deal is vital, especially to maintain and 

increase our share in the EU market.” 

Stressing that production and exports drive the country’s economy, Mustafa Gültepe, 

Chairman of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), said, “We reached the 

233 billion dollar limit in exports in 11 months. We will announce the results of 

2023 on January 2 with the participation of our President. Hopefully, We will 

conclude this year with more than 255 billion dollars in exports. We anticipate 

approaching the 100 billion dollar limit in service exports. We will complete the 

100th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic with two records in both 

goods and services exports. Our biggest export market is the European Union. 

We export 42 percent of our total exports to EU countries. Together with the UK,

Kmya ülkemzde de en büyük hracatçı sektörlermz arasında yer 

alıyor. 2022’y 33,5 mlyar dolarla lder tamamlamıştı. Bu yıl küresel pek çok 

zorluğa rağmen 11 ayda 28 mlyar dolara yaklaştı. Özellkle AB pazarında 

payımızı korumak ve artırmak çn Yeşl Mutabakat’a uyum hayat önem taşıyor. 

Çünkü Yeşl Mutabakat’a uyum sürec hızlanıyor. Yeşl dönüşüm zorlu 

ve malyetl br süreç. Özellkle KOBİ düzeyndek frmaların öz kaynaklarıyla 

dönüşümün altından kalkamayacakları çn fnansman çok öneml. İGE A.Ş. 

le dönüşümün fnansmanı çn çalışmalarımız devam edyor. Ayrıca KOS- 

GEB, ‘Türkye Yeşl Sanay Projes’ kapsamında öneml br destek programını 

devreye aldı. Teşvk programlarının önümüzdek dönemde artarak devam

the rate rises above 45 percent. There is no alternative for us in this 

massive market. The EU has focused on the Carbon Zero target in 

2050 with the Green Deal. To maintain and increase our strength 

in the market, we need to adapt our exports to the Green Deal criteria. The 

road map of our chemical industry must be ready. That is because chemistrybased 

products are used as intermediate goods by many sectors. In other 

words, chemistry is the natural supplier of all sectors. Chemicals are also 

one of the biggest export sectors in our country. It completed 2022 as the 

leader with 33.5 billion dollars. Despite numerous global challenges this year, 

it reached nearly 28 billion dollars in 11 months. Compliance with the Green 

Deal is vital, especially to maintain and increase our share in the EU market. 

This is because compliance with the Green Deal is gaining momentum. Green 

transformation is a challenging and costly process. Financing is essential, 

especially for SMEs, as they cannot overcome the transformation with their 

resources. We continue to work with İGE A.Ş. to finance the transformation. 

In addition, KOSGEB has launched an important support program within 

the ‘Turkey Green Industry Project’ scope. I believe that incentive programs 

will continue to increase in the upcoming period. With this belief, I hope our 

chemical industry’s sustainability action plan will be promising.” 

Pelister: “For more exports in chemistry, we must adapt to sustainability.” 

Stating that they have prepared a sustainability roadmap that directly concerns 

not only the chemicals industry but also all locomotive industries in touch with 

chemicals, Adil Pelister, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IKMIB, said: “The 

concepts of “Green Economy” and “Circular Economy,” which have recently 

entered our lives, bring along a critical harmonization process that will directly 

affect the future of our chemical exports. Especially when we consider the 

EU market, which covers more than 40 percent of our exports, the “Carbon 

Border Adjustment Mechanism,” “Fit for 55” and “EU Emissions Trading System” 

(ETS), which will enter into force with the Green Deal, will seriously affect 

the chemicals sector as well as all of our other sectors. We, as IKMIB, have 

determined the route of the change and transformation of the chemicals sector 

in this area with the Chemicals Sector Sustainability Action Plan Report we 

prepared. Because the chemicals sector is in a strategic position that touches 

and provides input to all other sectors. The change in the chemicals sector will 

also affect all other sectors. In this respect, we know it is time for change and 

transformation for the sustainability of chemicals exports.” 

Pelister: “We have identified eight prioritized goals and four pillars for 

building chemical sustainability.” 

Pointing out that they have prepared a guide to the entire change process 

that the chemical industry should be prepared for in green transformation 

and circular economy, from greenhouse gas emissions to energy and water 

management, from product design to recycling, Pelister said, “With the action 

plan report we have prepared, we have charted a route that our chemicals sector 

and exporter companies will follow step by step. While we, as the chemical 

industry, agree with all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, we have identified 

eight priority goals, 5 of which are primary and 3 of which are secondary, 

which will affect our sector the most. To build a sustainable chemicals sector 

on four main pillars, we have listed our duties step by step with a broad vision 

perspective. Under the headings of Low Carbon Economy, Resource Efficiency, 

Need for Investment, Caring for People and Planet, our 16 sub-sectors need 

to initiate sustainability mobilization. Therefore, we want our chemicals sector 

to be among the playmakers of the new era that the green transformation and 

circular economy will bring without missing the sustainability train.”

company representatives in 7 halls in Tüyap Bursa International Fair and 

Congress Centre on an area of 40 thousand square meters, BUMAT- 

ECH Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs witnessed a sales record this 

year as the most important meeting of the machinery manufacturing 

sector. İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tüyap Fairs, emphasised the 

importance of BUMATECH Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs, where 

Bursa Metal Processing Technologies Fair, Bursa Sheet Metal Processing 

Technologies Fair and Bursa Automation Fair meet under one roof 

and said: “Bursa Machine Technologies Fairs, which have a significant 

impact on trade volume, hosted 204 brands. Bursa, which has a very 

important position in our country’s economy, is a bridge to exports. In 

our Bumatech Fairs, the proportion of domestic manufacturers, which 

have recently become more and more important for our country, is quite

Fairs, organised by Tüyap Bursa Fuarcılık A.Ş. and Bursa Chamber 

of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) in cooperation with Machine Tools

Manufacturers Association (MIB), and with the support of the Ministry

The fair, which was followed with interest by a wide audience from 

Türkiye and abroad, witnessed an influx of visitors from the Middle 

East, North Africa and Europe.

Sanay Ruplastca 23-26 Ocak 2024 tarhler arasında 

Moskova’da gerçekleşt.

fırsatı bulduğumuz bu fuar, şletmemz çn son derece verml br 

deneym oldu.

katılarak sektördek gelşmeler hakkında daha ayrıntılı blg edndk. 

The Plastic and Rubber Industry Ruplastica, one of the important 

meeting points of the sector, was held in Moskova 

between January 23-26, 2024. 

We constantly monitored the newest trends, technology, and 

products during the show in order to inform our readers and 

support the industry’s growth. This fair was a very productive 

experience for our business, where we had the opportunity to 

meet with the leading brands and experts in the sector related 

to raw materials, processing machinery, molds, recycling 

and waste management in the plastics and rubber industry 

worldwide. 

We also attended seminars and conferences held within the 

framework of the expo, where we learned more specific details 

about the changes in the industry.

for travelers with its history and flavors, located on the banks of 

Seyhan in the south of the Taurus Mountains. Adana is one of our cultural 

heritages, having been home to many civilizations such as the Hittites, 

Assyrians, Persians, Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans. Today, it is listed 

as the 6th most populous city in Turkey.

Kapıkaya Kanyonu, Kapıkaya Canyon 

Öncelkle szlere görenlern tekrar tekrar gdp görmek stedğ Kapıkaya 

Kanyonundan bahsetmek styorum. Adana’nın Karasal lçesnde 

bulunan bu kanyon, eşsz br manzaraya sahp. Bu kanyonun oluşmasında; 

akarsular ve tektonk çöküntüler rol oynamıştır. Kapıkaya Kanyonu, 

btksel çeştllk açısından da oldukça öneml br yere sahp. Kend 

çndek ekosstemde endemk br şeklde btklern yetşyor olması, 

burayı özel br hâle getryor. Ayrıca kanyonun dernlklerne doğru lerledkçe 

yüksekten düşen şelalesyle de görenler hayran bırakıyor. 

First of all, I would like to tell you about Kapıkaya Canyon, 

which people want to go and see again and again. Located 

in the Karasali district of Adana, this canyon has a unique view. 

Rivers and tectonic depressions played a role in the formation of this 

canyon. Kapıkaya Canyon also has a very important place in terms 

of plant diversity. The fact that endemic plants grow in its ecosystem 

makes this place special. It also fascinates those who see it with its 

waterfall that falls from a height as it moves deeper into the canyon.

Attığınız her br adımda buram buram Adana tarhnn kokusunu alacağınız bu müze; Adana’nın farklı yerlernde bulunan müzelern brçoğunu tek br 

çatı altında toplayarak kompleks br müze halne getrlmş. 8 ayrı salonu bulunan Adana Arkeoloj Müzes’nde; Neoltk ve Kalkoltk dönemden başlayarak 

Httler, Asurlular, Persler, Helenstk Dönem, Roma, Bzans, Selçuklu ve Osmanlı dönemne at arkeolojk eserler serglenyor. Müzede eserler 

kronolojk sıraya ve dönemlere göre serglenyor. 

This museum, where you will smell the history of Adana at every step you take; It has been turned into a complex museum by gathering 

many of the museums in different parts of Adana under one roof. With 8 different halls, Adana Archaeology Museum exhibits archaeological 

artifacts from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods, Hittites, Assyrians, Persians, Hellenistic Period, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. 

The artifacts are exhibited in chronological order and according to periods.

kent. Çevres mesre yer olarak kullanılmaktadır. Anavarza 

Antk Kent’nde kazı çalışmaları tamamlanınca 

Efes’n 5 katı büyüklüğünde br antk kentn yenden 

gün yüzüne çıkacağına dar nanışlar bulunmakta. 

It is known that many civilizations such as the 

Romans, Byzantines, Armenians, Seljuks, 

Abbasids and Ottomans ruled in the ancient city of 

Anavarza, also known as the Invincible City. This ancient 

city, which you should definitely visit when you 

go to Adana, also attracts attention with its Anavarza 

castle. It is an ancient city worth seeing with its imposing 

castle and colonnaded street. The surrounding area 

is used as a promenade. There are beliefs that when 

the excavations are completed in the ancient city of 

Anavarza, an ancient city 5 times the size of Ephesus 

will be unearthed again. 

Taşköprü 

Taşköprü; Seyhan Nehr üzernde, Adana kent merkeznde, Adana 

(Seyhan) ve Karşıyaka (Yüreğr) yakalarını brleştren köprüdür. 

Doyumsuz manzarası le Adana’nın smges olarak kabul edlen 

köprü, br Roma dönem eserdr. Taşköprü’nün Roma İmparatoru 

Hadranus tarafından yaptırıldığı ve Roma İmparatoru I. Justnanus 

zamanında cdd şeklde onarıldığı aktarılmaktadır. Seyhan Nehr 

üzernde bulunan, aslen 21 gözlü olan köprü, Seyhan Nehr’nn ıslahı 

sırasında 7 gözünün toprak altında kalmasıyla 14 gözlü olarak 

hzmet veryor. 310 metre uzunluğundak köprünün genşlğ 11.40 

metredr. Ayrıca Taşköprü dünyada hâlen kullanılan en esk köprülerden 

brdr. 

Taşköprü is a bridge over the Seyhan River in Adana city 

center, connecting the Adana (Seyhan) and Karşıyaka 

(Yüreğir) sides. The bridge, which is considered as the symbol of 

Adana with its insatiable view, is a Roman monument. It is reported 

that Taşköprü was built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian and was 

seriously repaired during the reign of the Roman Emperor Justinian 

I. The bridge over the Seyhan River, which originally had 21 spans, 

is now in service with 14 spans after 7 spans were buried under the 

soil during the reclamation of the Seyhan River. The bridge is 310 

meters long and 11.40 meters wide. Taşköprü is also one of the 

oldest bridges still in use in the world.

Varda Köprüsü 

Varda Brdge 

Yıllara meydan okuyan yapısı ve mmars le görenler hayran bırakan Varda 

Köprüsü, Almanlar tarafından nşa edldğ çn Alman köprüsü olarak blnmektedr. 

İstanbul-Bağdat-Hcaz Demryolu hattını tamamlamak amacıyla üzere 

1907-1912 yılları arasında nşa edlmştr. Köprü, dern br vady brbrne bağlamakta 

olup 99 metre yükseklğnde ve 172 metre uzunluğundadır. Bu köprünün 

lgnç yanı se düz değl de vrajlı br köprü olmasıdır. 

Varda Bridge, which fascinates those who see it with its structure and 

architecture that defies the years, is known as the German bridge 

because it was built by the Germans. 

It was built between 1907 and 1912 to complete the Istanbul-Baghdad-Hijaz 

Railway line. The bridge connects a deep gorge and is 99 meters high and 172 

meters long. The interesting thing about this bridge is that it is not a straight 

bridge but a curved bridge.

Located in Adana Reşatbey, this mosque 

was opened in 1998. With 28,500 

worshipers, it is considered one of the largest 

mosques in the Balkans and the Middle East. 

It has become one of the symbols of the city 

due to its location at the intersection of the main 

arteries, the railway and the roads connecting 

Adana to the surrounding provinces and districts, 

and its high minarets visible from afar.
