“We aim to build a sustainable future in a technologycompatible<br />
society by exceeding the export figure of 50 billion<br />
dollars.”<br />
Emphasizing that, as the chemical sector, they directly or indirectly<br />
touch all 27 sectors by supplying raw materials, semi-finished<br />
products and finished products, and therefore they are proud of<br />
the chemical sector, Pelister continued his words as follows: “Our<br />
most important locomotive in the development of <strong>Türkiye</strong> will be<br />
the chemical sector. Without chemistry, nothing can be done, and<br />
a future without chemistry can never be imagined. In this context,<br />
our vision is 2030. While determining our vision, we based it on<br />
compliance with the norms and standards set forth specifically<br />
for sustainability. For this reason, we created our Chemical<br />
Industry Sustainability Action Plan report, which we announced<br />
to the public in recent months. In addition, we are preparing to<br />
organize a large chemical council with national and international<br />
participants in 2025 to jointly create our 2030 Chemical<br />
Industry Strategy. Now, our next goal is to build a ‘sustainable<br />
future in a technology-compatible society’, from innovation to<br />
digitalization, by achieving sectoral growth with a sustainable<br />
future, and exceeding the export figure of 50 billion dollars. More<br />
importantly, we have established the ‘Turkish Chemistry Agency’<br />
and through this agency, we have established ‘Chemistry Science<br />
and Technology’, similar to the science cities of Japan’s Tsukuba<br />
and South Korea’s Innopolis, with its Chemistry Science and<br />
Technical University, research institutes, sectoral technology<br />
initiatives, and highly qualified employees. We think and believe<br />
that the establishment of the ‘Technology City’ is essential. This is<br />
our main vision that will take us to 2050.”<br />
“We will continue to support our exporters around the world”<br />
Stating that, as İKMİB, they have organized dozens of fairs,<br />
workshops, purchasing delegations and market research activities<br />
in line with their search for new markets in the world, Pelister said,<br />
“We have taken hundreds of our exporters to all over the world in<br />
this direction. Together with our separate sub-sectors and sectoral<br />
business organizations, we organized various organizations to<br />
increase our exports. We are determined to continue supporting<br />
our exporters with these activities. We will announce our top<br />
5 exporters in 34 different categories at the 2023 İKMİB Stars<br />
of Export Award Ceremony, which we organized for the ninth<br />
time tonight. We will present plaques to our top 3 exporters,<br />
102 companies in total. Subsequently, we will give awards to our<br />
designers who are entitled to receive awards in the ‘Plastic’ category<br />
of our 19th IMMIB Industrial Design Competition this year. On<br />
behalf of our İKMİB Board of Directors, I would like to express<br />
my gratitude to our award-winning exporters and designers for<br />
their participation and their contributions to our industry and our<br />
country. We will strive to carry out larger projects and take our<br />
chemical industry to even greater heights in the coming period.”<br />
Winners of the Plastic Category in the 2023 İMMİB Industrial<br />
Design Competition have been announced<br />
This year, in partnership with İKMİB and İDDMİB, with the<br />
aim of developing high value-added products, disseminating<br />
‘Teknoloji uyumlu bir toplumda sürdürülebilir bir gelecek” inşa<br />
etmek. Daha da önemlisi, biz ‘<strong>Türkiye</strong> Kimya Ajansı’ kurulması<br />
ve bu ajans marifetiyle Japonya’nın Tsukuba, Güney Kore’nin<br />
İnnopolis bilim şehirlerine benzer, içerisinde Kimya Bilim ve<br />
Teknik Üniversitesi, araştırma enstitüleri, sektörel teknoloji<br />
girişimleri, yüksek nitelikli çalışanlarıyla ‘Kimya Bilim ve<br />
Teknoloji Şehrinin’ kuruluşunun elzem olduğunu düşünüyor ve<br />
inanıyoruz. İşte bizi 2050’ye götürecek olan ana vizyonumuz da<br />
budur.”<br />
“Dünyanın dört bir yanında ihracatçılarımızı desteklemeye<br />
devam edeceğiz”<br />
İKMİB olarak dünyada yeni pazar arayışları doğrultusunda<br />
onlarca fuar, çalıştay, satın alma heyeti ve pazar araştırmaları<br />
etkinliklerine imza attıklarını ifade eden Pelister, “Yüzlerce<br />
ihracatçımızı bu yönde dünyanın dört bir tarafına<br />
götürdük. Ayrı ayrı alt sektörlerimizle ve sektörel iş dünyası<br />
kuruluşlarımızla birlikte, ihracatımızı artırmaya yönelik<br />
çeşitli organizasyonlar tertip ettik. Bu faaliyetlerimizle<br />
ihracatçılarımızı desteklemeye devam etmekte kararlıyız. Bu<br />
gece dokuzuncusunu düzenlediğimiz 2023 yılı İKMİB İhracatın<br />
Yıldızları Ödül Töreni’mizde 34 ayrı kategoride ilk 5’e giren<br />
ihracatçılarımızı açıklayacağız. İlk 3’e giren ihracatçılarımıza,<br />
toplamda 102 firmamıza plaket takdim edeceğiz. Akabinde<br />
ise bu yıl 19’uncusunu düzenlediğimiz İMMİB Endüstriyel<br />
Tasarım Yarışmamızın ‘Plastik’ kategorisinde ödül almaya hak<br />
kazanan tasarımcılarımıza da ödüllerini vereceğiz. Ödül alan<br />
ihracatçılarımıza, tasarımcılarımıza gerek katılımlarından<br />
gerekse sektörümüze ve ülkemize yaptığı katkılardan dolayı<br />
İKMİB Yönetim Kurulumuz adına şükranlarımı sunuyorum.<br />
Önümüzdeki dönem daha büyük projelere ve kimya<br />
sektörümüzü çok daha yükseklere taşımanın gayreti içerisinde<br />
olacağız.” dedi.<br />
