Why the UAE Should be<br />
a Super Yacht Destination?<br />

The UAE has diversified its economy<br />
with tourism as one of its core<br />
pillars, and is also recognised as a<br />
global business hub in the Middle<br />
East, South Asia, Oceania and East<br />
Africa. The UAE is an established<br />
exclusive and luxury world destination<br />
- a multicultural and safe hub,<br />
blessed with beautiful coasts and<br />
clear waters, excellent diving spots<br />
and breathless desert landscape. A<br />
number of international sport organizations<br />
and events have chosen to<br />
base themselves in UAE, either on a<br />
permanent or temporary basis.<br />
The Superyacht industry in the<br />
UAE seems to follow the same path<br />
already experienced by the cruise<br />
industry. A total of 87 cruise ships<br />
docked in Dubai in 2009, a number<br />
that nearly doubled to 157 during<br />
the 2016-2017 winter season. At last<br />
count, 18 companies were docking in<br />
the Middle East this winter, with five<br />
cruise lines doing a full season there;<br />
additional companies, including Car-<br />
