“ข้าพเจ้ามีความยินดีที่ได้มาประกอบพิธีวางกระดูกงูเรือยนต์<br />
รักษาฝั่งของกองทัพเรือ ณ โอกาสนี้ การป้องกันประเทศ<br />
ทางทะเลเป็นหน้าที่โดยตรง และสาคัญที่สุดของกองทัพเรือ<br />
หน้าที่นี้เป็นภาระหนักที่ต้องอาศัยทั้งทหารซึ่งมีความรู้ความ<br />
สามารถสูง และเรือรบที่ใช้ในราชการ เป็นเรือที่สั่งทาจากต่าง<br />
ประเทศ การที่ทางราชการกองทัพเรือ สามารถริเริ่มต่อเรือยนต์<br />
รักษาฝั่งขึ้นใช้ในราชการได้เช่นนี้ จึงควรเป็นที่น่ายินดี และ<br />

parts are assemble in the factory before final integration<br />
in the shipyard. As she was the first RTN made<br />
ship, the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard meticulously<br />
assembled her.<br />
PGM91 Fast Patrol Ship have a displacement of<br />
87.50 tonnes, 31.80 meters in length and 5.36 meters<br />
in width. She has 2 propellers and driven by<br />
21,650 - horsepower Maybach Mercedes - Benz diesel<br />
engines, which can send her to her maximum speed<br />
at 25 knots. She is equipped with a 40 mm. automatic<br />
gun on her bow and a 20 mm. automatic gun aft.<br />
His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her<br />
Majesty Queen Regent Sirikit presided over PGM91’s<br />
ceremonial ship launching on 9 May 1968 at the<br />
Royal Thai Naval Dockyard, making officers of the<br />
Royal Thai Navy and the Royal Thai Naval Dockyard<br />
appreciate at their royal grace.<br />
The Royal Thai Naval Dockyard conducted the<br />
speed trials of PGM91 at the Si Chang island milestones,<br />
where His Majesty King Bhumibol presided over to<br />
advice and give thoughts on the ship’s performance<br />
by himself. Vice Admiral Udom Sutat na Ayutthaya said<br />
