WZMOCNIENIA
Wzmocnienia stalowe profi li PCW są istotnym elementem każdego okna, gdyż
zapewniają odpowiednią jego trwałość i statykę. Ale także przemysł wytwarzający
wzmocnienia jest ważnym segmentem rynku stolarki budowlanej.
Jeżeli w roku 2007 wytworzono w Polsce ponad 6 mln sztuk okien tworzywowych,
oznacza to, że zużyto do ich produkcji ponad 50 mln m.b. wzmocnień
stalowych. Przyjmując tylko ubiegłoroczne ceny stali możemy oszacować war-
tość tego segmentu na kwotę
150 mln zł. Jednak zwiększający
się rynek okien i wciąż rosnące
ceny stali powodują, że w kolejnych
latach wartość tego segmentu
także będzie systematycznie
rosła.
W pierwszych latach produkcji
okien PCW w Polsce dostawcami
profi li byli systemodawcy
oferujący kształtowniki z PCW.
Kształt, grubość i wielkość
wzmocnienia w każdym oknie
opisują szczegółowo specyfi
kacje techniczne (aprobaty)
systemodawców. Wielu z nich
zapewnia więc swoim odbior-
com również dostawy takich profi li. Jednak z biegiem lat zaczęły powstawać
wyspecjalizowane fi rmy, zajmujące się wyłącznie gięciem blachy i sprzedażą
kształtowników stalowych do wybranych systemów tworzywowych. Dlatego
dzisiaj poza systemodawcami dominującymi dostawcami wzmocnień są takie
fi rmy, jak MFO z Sochaczewa, płocki Budmat i bydgoski Glob-Profi l. Poza

The Polskie Okna i Drzwi (the Polish Windows
and Doors) is an Polish association of manufacturers
of windows, doors, garage and industrial
doors, facades and shading devices, suppliers of
materials for their production and distributors
of these products. The Związek Polskie Okna i
Drzwi was established by the autonomous decision
of its members-founders. It is currently
the only one signifi cant representation of this
economic area in our country. The voice of this
group is amplifi ed by an active involvement of
other economic organizations fi rst of all Krajowa
Izba Gospodarcza (the Polish Chamber of
Commerce) and the Federacja Pracodawców i
Przedsiębiorców Przemysłu Budowlanego RP
(the Federation of Employers and Businessmen
of Construction Industry) Every month in a different
region of the country we call the Regional
Fenestration Forum to discuss the situation on
the market to defi ne potential threats and fi nd
remedies. Once a year we call All-Polish Forum
which takes decisions on business strategy for
the nearest time.

REINFORCEMENTS
Steel reinforcements for PVC windows are important elements of every window.
They ensure its durability and statics. Reinforcement industry is an important
segment of the fenestration market. Assuming that in 2007 more
than 6 million pieces of plastic windows were produced in Poland, more than
50 million linear meters of steel reinforcements were used to produce them.

undertaken, the spot, where the most important
information about the fenestration market is
collected. In order to realize common purposes
of windows and doors manufacturers the Association
cooperates with scientifi c-research institutions.
We benefi t from the cooperation with
the experts from Warsaw and Poznań Universities
and PAN (the Polish Academy of Science).
These contacts enables the members of association
to complete materials and documents for
technical approbations and certifi cates. We also
cooperate with court experts who help us to
protect manufactures on the market dominated
by consumers.
Trainings
The Association is a place where manufacturers
can organize trainings. We have been training
professionals within the range of wood drying
for several years. They get familiar with the latest
devices and experiences of the greatest Polish experts
within the area.
Tens of window fi tters become the beginning of
professional staff for windows manufacturers as
well as their distributors thanks to trainings offered

in every window, are described
in detail in the technical
specifi cations (approvals) of
system-suppliers. Even today many of them offer the supply of such profi -
les. Over the years a number of specialized companies have come into being,
which are specialized only in bending sheet and providing steel sections to
selected plastic systems. Therefore, dominant steel reinforcement suppliers
today are such companies as: MFO from Sochaczew, Budmat from Płock
directed at the professional environment connected
with the construction. We present wide
range of fenestration products to architects,
designers, contractors and investors.
Promotion
The Związek Polskie Okna i Drzwi is focused on
the promotion of products manufactured by its
members. Promotion is done through internet,
press publications, fair exhibitions and advertising
campaigns. There is a constant exhibition
of products in the Association’s headquarters.
Our experts provide consumer with information
about products, technology, and prices. Every
member of the Association is a solid partner, verifi
ed on the market and gives the guarantee of
reliability. The association vouch for its members.

The Polish Windows and Doors Association is
